Going around the area is a HUGE scam. I see a slick snake oil salesman getting ladies to have shake parties promising them large amounts of money for doing nothing. They tell you to go to a website and enter your credit card number. They promise women weight loss. I went to one of these parties. There is no one getting rich. There is no one losing weight. Not even the slick salesman is getting rich. He is being used as well. If you think you can lose weight by doing nothing and get rich by doing nothing you are fools. We are in a recession. These people are taking advantage of people for profit. Body by Visalus is a fraud. For 90 days they take your money. Run Forrest Run.

Honey, you cannot do it all on your own. Someone has to sign you up. The salesman makes the promises and tells you to talk your friends and relatives into doing it. While he sits on his ass you girls are doing all the work hoping to get ahead. And, hoping to lose weight. He tells you it takes awhile so you do it for 90 days and then he has taken all your money. You feel stupid and tell no one. Classy scam buddy. Sounds like the young girl is fooled. Then, YOU have pulled all your friends and relatives into the mix while he did nothing. Ask the person who got you interested for their results. Shameful.

You don't need shakes to lose weight. Exercise and low fat portion control is all you need. Maybe giving your money away makes you more determined to stick with it.

It has a 30 day money back guarantee; if it doesn't work, get your money back. Maybe Jennifer didn't get results because she was too lazy to go to the gym and was eating BK, TB, and KFC in-between shakes......just a thought. And by the way, I am on it and have had great results in my first two weeks.

This sounds like someone that promotes another brand and feels threatened so she has to try and bad mouth the product. This product is helping so many people in different ways. Yes, exercise is key, however as you get older it is harder to lose weight and this gives you a tool to use, just like weight watchers, advocare or slim fast. There is no one promising anyone riches here. It is offering an opportunity and a product that can help some people. If you are happy being overweight and unhealthy go about your business, but if someone needs a tool to help them and they enjoy the shakes then let them have it. This is no different than people making a trip to GNC for the same type of products. The world revolves around money no matter what. Visalus offers a good product for a certain price just like everything else at walmart or target and they pay someone a little money to let people know about it just like walmart, target, mcdonalds, hardees...on and on an on. That is life. If you don't like BBV than don't buy it and shut up and buy something else, but leave others that enjoy it alone. Jake Dixon is a good person and wants to help people and yes he wants to provide for his family also. That is why people go to work at walmart, the gas station, your supermarket, the gyms, the insurance salesman, etc...is to offer services and products to provide for their families. So no need to spread rumors about good people, just don't buy it if you don't want it...period.

My sister sells this stuff, the first time she told me about it that was what i thought it was. a quick rich scheme that wont last. She didnt do it for the money, shes been in it 5 months has lost 40 lbs, her skin is cleared up and she is thirty with 2 children. after she started this her husband got really sick. they didnt know what was wrong with him. he was 6'2 and weighed 140 lbs. the amount of vitamins you take, that arent coated like the ones from the pharmacy, helps put your body into its natural state. he started on this and was better in no time. I am also in the health care field, there is nothing wrong with replacing your meals with shakes and theres also nothing wrong with teaching people to live fuller, healthier lives. If you dont believe dont, but dont stop someone who wants to change their life for the better. and if your that skeptical then watch someone else do it first. see their success and their failure and realize what works for them doesnt always work for you. Weight loss, quitting smoking, its all in your head, its all bout how much YOU WANT IT. if your skeptical, it wont work your mind is the most powerful organ in your body. If you think something is someway about yourself then it is. I want to change my life as well as my boyfriends life and him seeing me change what i eat has caused him to change as well. If you want to eat out make healthier choices subway instead of mcdonalds have a shake mixed with coaco instead of a chocolate bar, these changes curb your cravings as well as they are much healthier for you.

Unfortunately, this product has been proven to contain gelatin from the hooves of cattle. The gelatin blocks nutrients from being absorbed into the body. That does mean all nutrients good and bad. So, do with that what you will. I just saw the thread and am passing on info. It is sad that the FDA doesn't regulate this industry. This company's products are NOT approved by the FDA.

No, the problem is people promoting something they know nothing about. Ask them a question about nutrition and their faces go blank. That blank look goes all the way up the chain. I've done my research and asked my questions. They point you to the computer. So I went there. Pure sales. Money, money, money. Firefighter? Yeah, that's who I want to listen to about nutrition for my kids. Lol "there is no one promising riches here" Where is "here" salesman?

If you have a problem with me or the product - contact me face to face like a person with guts would instead of depending on some worthless gossip board. Are you kidding me? That is pathetic if you ask me. Come see me at The Player's Edge in Kewanee face to face or call me atleast and handle this like an adult. If you think I'm a slimy sales person and not in this for the right reasons - you are grossly mistaken. My dad and friends/family VERY close to me have literally changed their lives with the product so I take it VERY personal with what youre saying. Obviously I've met you and I have a very good idea of who is posting this and shame on you for being so irresponsible. Maybe you should ask the 673 members of our team right now how they're liking the challenge and how theyre doing. Or maybe you want to talk to Dr. Valerie Flacco of OSF St. Mary's hospital who recommends this to her patients and receives no financial gain from it. The list goes on and on... I think I'd rather believe her and others in the health industr instead of some stupid message board.

Barb: It was actually the fireman's wife that posted the earlier statement. I didn't realize he was logged in. I never get on this ignorant message board unless someone tells me something stupid was posted...so I heard about yours and checked it out. If you would like to meet with Jake and I to discuss things we would be happy to do so. However, I doubt you will take us up on it because that is what this board is for, is idiots under fake names without anything else positive in their lives so they have to make up ridiculous things about others in order to create drama in their lives. If you don't like the product, don't buy it! I don't see you at walmart protesting the use of Slimfast. Do you think nobody turns a profit for promoting that?? This is simply an avenue for people to try and if they like it they will continue it and if they don't they can send it back and get their money back. That is no scam! As far a people just having to put on their walking shoes...what about those people that have health issues or are handicapped and unable to do so but still need to lose weight. What would you suggest for them Dr. Barb??? This is for those that can't exercise, don't have enough time to walk 10 miles a day, or maybe they just plain don't want to, but yet they want to lose weight. Either way it is none of your business or anyone elses business how they do it. If you are happy with yourself then shut up and go on with your life and leave others that need another avenue alone. As far as your comment about not wanting to listen to a firefighter for your nutrition...that was actually me and I have been into health and fitness for about 25 years. If you have questions, I will be happy to get you the answers. And if you are in fantastic shape and get excellent nutrition like you lead us to believe I will be happy to sign you up for the Marathon in April and you can run right beside me, but I hope that you bring your running shoes because I do not walk. Moral of the story is this is a great product that is helping alot of people and it is nobody elses business if they want to use it. If you want to meet with Jake and I to put all your worries to rest please contact us. I'm sure you know where the Player's Edge is and Jake will be more than happy to answer your questions.

Brag brag brag........ we got it your in great shape and have a perfect life. It's just not worth 100. dollars a month to me, to "lose weight". If I had an extra 100. Bucks a month I would join the Y and buy fruits and veggies instead of the cheap processed food.

This is all so ridiculous! I love how the people that start this ridiculous thread, hide behind fake names and fake towns they live in. Jennifer and Barb are likely dudes. All of this is probably more about jealousy, than Body By Vi. There are thousands of products on the market today for weight loss. Why? Because not one product works for every person. Some programs are great for some, and not for others. Each person has to find the thing that works for them. Whether it's Body By Vi, Jenny Craig, Hydroxy Cut, Alli, etc., all of these products offer different things to different people. Some people do great with counting calories or killing themselves on the treadmill. For me, those would not work, because I wouldn't stick to either. I want something that tastes good to me and is easy to follow. Whatever avenue a person takes is their choice, and no one has a right to decide what that is but them. Some people may try Body By Vi and love it, others may not. The same with any other product. As far as price goes, I understand with the Body By Vi product, you can get it for free when 3 others try it with you, so no $100 a month needed. If the last poster wants to join a gym and eat fruit and vegetables all day long, go for it, but most would likely let the food rot and would probably waste their money on the gym membership, because they would never go. Again, to each his own. There is another company that sells it's products the same way as Body By Vi, it's called Advocare. I don't see anyone complaining about their stuff on this board. I have tried Advocare products, and they did not work for me, and I did not care for how pricey they were. They also didn't have a "refer 3 and free" program like Body By Vi does. Since I didn't care for the Advocare program, I stopped my shipments and moved on. I did not get on a gossip site and bash others or their products like a baby. People need to stop acting like jr. high bullies, and do what you like and let others do what they like. When the ones on this board are claiming Body By Vi is a scam, I do not see any explanation and facts for why they think that. All I see, is someone throwing stones at another. However, I did see Jake Dixon post under his own name, and offer up any information and facts about the product he sells, to anyone who wants it. Kudos to him for being a man and standing up for what he believes in. It's very easy, if something doesn't work for you, don't use it. If someone offers you a product to try and you don't want to, don't. I personally know many people that are trying Body By Vi, and love it, have lost weight, and love the taste. Good for them! I hope they all continue down the road to better health and loving who they are a little more, because they feel better about themselves. Isn't that what really matters?

enough already...I am not bragging nor saying I am in perfect shape but telling those who seem to think that they have all of the answers for everyone else to plainly shut up. Don't think for a second that I don't know what it's like to be overweight. I have had to lose a minimum of 50 lbs 3 different times in the past 15 years and I know how hard it can be....sometimes people need other avenues that will work for them. I wish this product had been around for me years ago. I'm sure the people on here bitching and telling everyone else that all they need to do is put their running shoes on and exercise are the ones that do not exercise themselves and are overweight and content with it. I am lucky enough that I was able to exercise and lose the weight but other people don't have that luxury due to illnesses or handicaps...so what do you suggest they do??? There are plenty of people that love this product and it is working for them when other things have failed for them in the past. If it's not your thing..great..go buy something else. But if others find success with it, I don't know why anyone else has to be concerned about it. Most people spend more than $100 a month on fast food that makes them gain weight and unhealthy, so why is it not ok for someone to want to put that money to better use on a product that can offer a healthier lifestyle. I just don't see why others have to stick their nose where it doesn't belong. Let others do what they want to in their own lives and go about your business.

I see that muscular girl walking around pretending she got muscular doing these Vii shakes. She's been muscular for over 10yrs. I hear they say you get three people on the shakes and yours is free. That is not even true. You have to do a certain amount of moneys worth. They have to upsell. So, you tell your mom to get on the shakes so yours are free and then next month they take the money out of your bank account whether you like it or not. That is a problem. Yes, I researched this. I do see no one tried to explain the comment about gelatin from cows hooves in the shakes. Why not? What's the big secret?

First of all...I do not pretend anything. True..I have always been muscular; however I have lost muscle tone over the years because over the age of thirty you lose 9 oz of muscle a year which adds up. Since I have started the shakes, I have put on more lean muscle than I have in years. I am almost 40 years old and I will not let people make me feel bad for working hard to stay in shape. Maybe the people on this post should try it. If you want to be an ass, at least do it to my face and not hide behind fake names on an ignorant message board. I will have no problem confronting you. Also, It is clear that you have the 3 for FREE option and it is 3 friends with the same kit or higher..so yes you do get yours FREE. You don't have to, it's just an offer. I don't know why people have such a problem with FREE. You go to GNC or Advocare...you don't get shit FREE! As for not even commenting on the cow hooves thing....plainly because it's stupid and incorrect. I would like to know where people come up with this shit and why the hell it matters to anyone that anyone else wants to drink a freak'n shake or not.
