Mine's $101.47. Four people in the house. Old house, that might have some leaks. Four adults taking showers and toilets. How in the hell do you have a $250 water bill? I had a blown pipe in 2009, we think it ran for about 30 hours and my bill was only $275.

Mine was $89.00 but I am the only person in the house and I am at work for 9 hours a day and most of my clothes goes to the dry cleaners, so I only have about 2 small loads a week to wash, plus a shower every day, so you figure it out. I don't have a dishwasher and don't really have a lot of dishes besides my coffee cup and spoon every morning. I think that is reasonable for me.

Your full of crap if your water ran for 30 hrs and it was only $275. Blow smoke somewhere else, because I don't believe that. Mine runs around $200. to $250. for the cycle (two months). I have the new didgital meter that if a drop goes throught it, it reads it. So the city tells me. We have checked for leaks both city and myself but nothing. Water bill use to be around $85 when I first mover in to this house. But slowly went up to $175, then 2 yrs ago when they put on this new meter....WOW.
We wash full loads of laundary, not parts. 2 baths a day...more in the summer. Water bushes and plants in the summer but still not much difference in the bill from summer to winter. So I live with it. It's part of my budget, it if goes under $200. I get happy and run to mck...d's and buy a burger. Thats only happened once in two yrs.

If it's didgital, watch it grow like a fungus. They read every drop. Like your faucet, if it drips once, it reads that water usage.

The old meters never use to do that but the new ones do.

We pay 111.50 every 2mo for 2people and we shower everyday and wash about 2 full loads of laundry a week. I'm happy with my water bill.

I have a friend, who lives in neponset.
He said his bill runs $125. each month. Now thats each month. Bare min. according to the billing over there is $103. If you use water or not. He said he went to a city meeting one time and people were talking about their bills being as high as $500 a cycle.
