Scott was in the passenger seat, and that was the side that got totally smashed in. By lookin at photos of the truck he prolly died on impact hopefully. Randy had surgery done to his intestine lastnite to stop some severe internal bleeding. He still has a fractured pelvis and two bad vertebrae in his back but was able to move his limbs as of lastnight. Our group of friends have the worse luck in the world

I dont think you guys have the worst luck. I just think its god putting you all through a trial. Maybe trying to teach everyone how short life can be and how you never no what is going to happen. But i no the group of guys and everyone is so strong and i believe they can get through anything. Just stay positive and be thankful u have those friends!

Randy will be fine eventually he will have a long recovery. Drew will be fine, too. They have a great group of friends. If you are one of them, you know they love you like they love their families. Drew and Randy need everyone's prayers and support. My heart goes out to Scott's family and my prayers are with them. Thank you to all that have been praying for Randy and for Drew. Just be there for them, that's what they need.

My good friend is a professional who was involved with this accident. There are rumors that those people in the SUV wouldn't let Drew pass and that is why they wrecked. The police did a whole reconstruction and that is not true. The boys were going as fast as that truck would go and were way off to the left and lost control. Those people were way over to the right side of the road and the truck came up so fast they didn't even have time to do anything before the truck hit them. Everybody should stop blaming those people, they pulled Drew and Randy out of the truck while it was on fire and could have blown up, the boys could have died if those people hadn't got them out. I am glad Drew and Randy are ok but instead of blaming the other people they should be thanking them.

I was one of the first people who arrived at the scene. The driver and passenger in the SUV that was hit were quite courageous. They ran up to a burning truck to pull out two of the boys. Instead of trying to lay blame on these people, they should be commended and applauded for their quick thinking and unselfish act. If not for them, the tragedy could have involved more than just one fatality. My heart goes out to the family of the young man who died in the accident. Let's not, however, lay blame on anyone.

Until facts come out there are always rumors usually started by "I heard". After facts come out it takes awhile for some to hear about it. Rumors grow as they are passed on or told just a little bit different each time. I am glad that the facts were stated here, still not everyone comes here or reads the paper but eventually the facts will get around and rumors will fade. I doubt anyone meant any harm.

Drew Richardson killed Scott as sure as the Sun rises. He tries to say he was only going around 55 MPH which is a load of crap. Rusty Parks told that his dad hit a pole on Kentville Road in a pick-up truck a while back going 60 MPH and it only knocked the bed about 3 inches off the frame. The truck drew was driving hit so hard the bed flew OFF the truck 20 feet. and the bumpers were touching each other. Drew is a liar. and I hope he gets exactly what he deserves.

If you have any common sense at all you would realize that for Drews truck to hit that pole so hard that it literally wrapped around it (The front and rear bumpers were touching) he was going alot faster than 55 MPH. It is true that no 2 accidents are the same. But c'mon It's common sense.
