Yeah 0 and 30+ in past few years.. instead of bitching about it find a way to make it better.. If you think about it. We've had a new head coach every year in past few years that means learning a new offense and defense every season.. And we may have a pretty big school but when it comes to athletes we don't have anyone going out. Too many dirty druggies and people that don't care. Next year cant be any worse. And like someone said earlier.. Many of the starters were juniors and sophomores. Handful of seniors. And I'm sure people that didnt play this year will go out next year.

I applaud the kids at KHS who went out and tried. I didn't see them "give up." Just the opposite. They gave what they could. You know, it takes a lot of guts to go into a sports game knowing you will probably lose. It takes a lot of class to not go with the flow of your clasmates and turn your back on your school and community and not participate, to follow the rules established by the coach and still go out in what appears as a futile attempt and get heckled by a lot of folks, including adults who should know and act better. They knew what the deal was this year. But next year they will go against smaller schools whose upperclassmen do not have as much experience against the larger schools as they do. Next year will be better, much better, and so will the year after that.

what are you talking about riiiiight? they gave up after the first touchdown, EVERY TIME. as soon as the other team scored that first t, there morale was out for good. and im not just sayin that, you can ask any of the kids who play football, and they will tell you that half of them dont care.

Football team had a hard ass Schudule. It was rank Number 3 out 6 of NCIC Lincoln teams from Massey.com . Also, we aren't moving into a easy conference we moving to a conference that has our Enrollment. The problem we have in football is we don't have kids in the weigh room. Dontae is a good football player, but he can't played like he did his freshmen year. Varsity level is lot faster speed and stronger than fresh-spoh. Are Fresh-spoh team would of prolly won or got second place in conference if all the Spoh stay down. U ask why they moved them up. Cause it better to face harder competition and get better

1. You're wrong. The reason why our football schedule was "hard" is because our team blows. We could have had the easiest possible schedule, and we'd have lost every game.

2. Massey.com doesn't exist.

3. You said that we aren't moving into an easy conference, but we are. Sure, it's closer to our enrollment--I'll agree with you there--, but the school board's intention was not to make it more fair. Rather, they wanted to see our football team win. For some reason, they focus their time and opinions on an area that hasn't got wonderful talent--athletics. Instead, they should focus on academics and successful areas of the school, such as the drama department, JKB, and the 21st Century Grant programs.

4. By saying that our problem is that we have no one in the weight room, you are admitting--and proving my point--that there is a huge lack of dedication. Most of the football players couldn't care less about succeeding, and it shows. To have the senior class sit through three consecutive years of failure in the football and majority of athletic departments is a shame. I remember distinctly when Sanders tried to require every football player to lift every weekday in the summer, and he was told that he couldn't. Why have such passion for a department, and then limit their abilities?

5. The Varsity should be juniors and seniors, though. The sophomores shouldn't have to work that hard so early in their high school career. It's going to hurt them in the future. Just look at what happened to Jake Jennings. If he'd have only had to have worried about playing the Riveter game, he would never have been injured. To put so much pressure and heavy reliance on 15 and 16 year old kids is flagrantly idiotic.

What they should do is have all the football players loosen up to some Single Ladies before they go on the field. Otherwise, we could lose to a school for the deaf.
