Do you remember when Ayers and Obama worked on his election and the Obamas and Ayers family were good friends. Here is what Ayers said:
"Bill Ayers to University Students: America‘s ’Game Is Over‘ and ’Another World’ Is Coming"

No, he said the obvious but unpleasant truth [aka reality], when he stated the hated statement, "...The American Empire is over..." A nation that is $16 trillion in debt is not a world power or an empire, much to our regret, no matter about how much we bitch and whine and deny the decline. It is time to get out of Europe and NATO and bring the troops home, close foreign bases and quit roaming the globe, boohoo; and no longer letting or abetting the State Department and Pentagon getting us into more foreign wars, despite miltary-media whores, because we just can't afford them no more. Peace and prosperity might be boring and make us snore.
