Regretably this administration, maybe without knowing it, is killing the economy with all the taxes and regulations. And it's going to get worse before it gets better.
Hey, you won't just feel it in social security, etc. You'll feel it in your healthcare and your electric and gas bills as well as they charge you more to pay for their pet programs. It's the 70's bunch that wanted to put their ideas into practice THEN, but couldn't so now that they're in charge, they've found a way to do it.
As long as people rely on society to boost them up instead of working up on their own, this will be the result.

They are the same reason your food bill is going up too. Has nothing to do with the big bad farmer or the store. They're simply passing on the cost.

Go figure. The government through the doctor's unions has a cap on who can graduate from med school and practice.(which affects what you pay) They pay farmers NOT to raise crops.(reduced supply; higher cost) The San Juaquin valley USED to be the glory of California raising crops.(more imported food) No more because of water restrictions and environmental concerns about 'endangered' wildlife.

Look at what the price of meat and milk has done.
