Are you attempting to justify an 'Auto de Fe' because:
a. The Inquisition couldn't make it to China to make the quote?
b. 1,000,000 unjust deaths is not as bad as 1,000,000 + 1?
Using bone counts, can the Khmer Rouge argue that they really couldn't have been that bad because we can't find all the bones?
Using bone counts, can we say that the genocide in Central Africa wasn't that bad because we can't find all the bones?
What kind of value system do you hold in the Church of Rome that allows for this kind of 'moral relativity'?
