Bottom line she did her Job. As governor that is what you are suppose to do, get as much as you can for your state and tax payors. As you change your Job titles, your duties change. Why is this so difficult to understand.

Joe Biden boasts that he brought home to Deleware $67,000,000 in 2007 earmarks. Over the past 3 years, by his own report, Obama has requested $740,000,000 in earmarks. Odd that the liberal biased media does not question them about earmarks.

Sarah Palin's 15 minutes of fame are just about over. She should take her weird, "Deliverance" style family and go back to Alaska. Her family needs more attention than we need from her.

It is insulting that she would be placed on the same mantle as Dick Cheney, George HW Bush and other great VPs.

This is not about Obama and Biden ---they did not brag about earmarks ---this is about Palin.

As mayor of a town of 5,000 she choreographed earmarks of 28,000,000 --- 100 times the amount per cap of any town in the US.

As Governor, she did not say no the Bridge to no Where --- after years of the Congress fighting with Alaska, including Governor Palin, Congress said no. Governor Palin said give me the money anyways and Congress did. These statements repeated by Governor Palin and the McCain campaign and Senator McCain are blatant lies. Every news media has confirmed the story.

Palin was the worst Dovernor and mayoral offender in the country of seeking and receiving earmarks. Now you run on an anti-earmark platform?

Republicans backing a barely technically coherent candidate who cannot successfully instill her "Christain values" in her own kid as she legislates "appropriate" behavior for the rest of us, including what we can read in a library, as she works to force fanatical creationism into schools and she speaks in tongues and waits for The Rapture to physically cause her body to ascend up into the sky.

Yep, the Republican Party sure has changed.

They're all the same except for Dr. Ron Paul and Ralph Nader. The Neo Con press won't let them near you to tell you that. It doesn't matter which one of the four bozos gets to be president.

In the beginning I like John McCain, now I am leaning to Obama - why? Because I am sick of McCain's lies and Swiftboat tactics.

McCain was such a decent man, a hero in my eyes. Now he comes across as such a sharlaton. He talks about what Washington has done to his party, he doesn't see what his party has done to him. He keeps changing his positions and lying about it.

Where is the John McCain that I liked and admired? Where has he gone?

Issue here has very little to do with whether Palin sought and obtained federal earmark funding or whether Democrats got more or less funding for their states.

She flip-flopped on the Bridge, essentially running for Governor on a pro-Bridge platform then taking the money and spending it on other projects. She compounded that by lying about the flip-flop with the "no thanks" line in her acceptance speech.

The most glaring problem, however, is that she truly looked like a slightly dazed, script-driven talking points machine whenever Gibson raised substantive issues with her. She needs to go back to the bubble for futher programming.

That kind of Republican over-confidence is exactly what will win it for Obama.

Do you even care about what's best for the country or do you just care that you're team wins?

Other than a couple of social issues, both parties are very similar. Do you know anything about either candidate's plans? Are you among the 30 percent that still approves of Bush?
