Why can't I vote that they are not corrupt. You are being one sided and unfair. Go back to playing nintendo or whatever it is that you do.

KPD is corrupt and cover up crimes committed by other officers? They arrested one of their own, a well liked 23 year veteran of the force for DWI in December 2010. How is that a cover up? Officers have discretion he could have been easily been let off or given a ride home. A DWI charge against a cop is pretty much the end of his carer. You cant hold a peace officers license in the state of Texas if you are ever convicted of a class B misdemeanor.

God I can't believe I just read these posts..my dad is disgusting! I'm not ashamed to put my name on here, but I am ashamed to say Steven Mobley is my dad. He is a disgusting, lying douchebag! As far as I'm concerned he's been a horrible father who still owes child support after what 10 years. I'm not surprised that Kerrville's Police is corrupt, if all policemen were like him, shit this whole country would be corrupted and have criminals running everywhere.

PS: DADDY DEAREST IF YOU READ THIS.. YOU STILL OWE ME $3000 IN CHILD SUPPORT =)

Thank You . Your father was a filthy pig who had no business ever wearing a badge and the stories are true . I worked at a facility where several of the woman he got drunk and slept with and a rape victim he was trying to sleep with came to for help. I am so sorry about the child support but I am glad you are not like him .

Yeah, Mobley is retired, getting a good pension thanks to the tax payers, and to top it off he's behind on child support too... Really? I think when i move back to Kerrville, i wanna be a cop. I want free tax payer money and i don't want to be responsible for my actions any more! Lol! Amazing! Someone should revoke his retirement and make him accountable for his actions.

I worked for kpd and can tell you from what I heard and seen they are not good people. You have a few good officers but only a few. They use their badge to push people around and pretty much do what they want. I have also witnessed officer Mobley's actions along with Wilke's. I am being conservative as I still live here.

Corrupt? What an understatement. My daughter spent a year in safe P for buying a needle of herion. When I went the drug dealers address and told him I would personally end his life, I was told I could be jailed for the threat by the cops. Give me a chance and it will not be just a threat. They all know who the drug dealers are. They keep them around so that they can make cases and have people pay fines for years that makes cops look good and helps with their pay checks. They don't try to arrest the dealers, they help them make conquest!
Law enforcement here sell drugs on the street and take advantage of everyone so long as it benefits them. If they get caught, its usually because they have offended someone in their rank. Even then, they get a slap on the wrist and a kiss on the cheek. Isn't it time to kick some dealer ass? If you think its not in your backyard, you are sadly mistaken.

More importantly, it is time to bring crooked police to justice. Sure they perpetuate and support drug dealing. It brings them a steady stream of slaves, i.e. small time drug users to keep on probation and pay fines and fees for years. Just look at the Tanna Brown Hurt case…27 felonies and counting. She kept people on probation and stole the fee money and pissed it off on rodeo. What a stupid and typical Kerrville hoe.
Without dealers there are no addicts. Dealers have money, power and lawyers. Addicts have nothing. The police have huge budgets here and need crime to keep the wheels greased. When things get slow, they stoke the fire. The answer is to keep filing suits in Federal Court when there is merit. This costs them money and takes them out of the setup court in Kerr County.

The police arrest and charge the drug dealers all the time. The problem is our slow justice system. Once someone is charged its up to the courts, it is out of police hands.

FYI the lawsuit against KPD was unfounded and on the verge of being cleared by the Judge presiding over the case. Its public record through pacer http://www.pacer.gov/ You have to have a membership, but it is relatively easy for any person to get one.

Your all guilty of aggravated dooshe baggery. I have never experienced such an assumptuious congregation of under educated fools. Its clear a few of you have a dictionary but have never picked up the U.S. constitution and read it. You see, the police do know where the drug dealers are, but there are rules, such as probable cause, needed to apprehend them. The only corruption I see, is people like most of you who are dissatisfied with the fact that you don't get to do what you want. You then grant yourself license to make up lies about hard working men and women who would unfortunately risk their lives to save you losers. The crime in this world is that free speech should also include educated speech. Anyways, later A$$ Clowns... ;)

Its funny how some people who have never run for office, are so quick to talk bad about the ones that are in office. If you think that you can run a county better than the elected officials, then put your name on the ballot. If you dont want to actually put yourselfs in these peoples shoes, than keep your comments to yourself. Also, if you believe everything that you see in the news about these officials, than you are as dumb as your accusations.

To Banana Head and BHW: For your information, I am very well educated, own a very successful business, have 2 straight A high school students and grew up with a father who was a detective for the Los Angeles Police Dept. I've never been in trouble with the law and neither have any family members. Everything these people are posting about the corrupt Special Crimes Unit in Kerrville is completely true and unfortunately, I have recently seen it first hand only because they are interested in a former client of mine and thought if they set me up and arrest me that I would provide them with information that I don't have. When I didn't provide information, they issued a 2nd warrant for my arrest on a completely made up charge. The Sergeant specifically told me the 2nd charge was issued as payback for failure to provide him with information and wasting people's time and money. It has cost me thousands in bonds and attorneys and will cost me thousands more to have the arrests removed from my record when the cases are dismissed. The Sergeant of the SCU's wife is the ADA in the 216th and he's currently running the campaign for someone running to be the DA in the 198th. He wants to ensure that he has someone in his pocket in each court. TO ALL WHO DON'T KNOW, it is a conflict of interest for any case handled by Sgt. Wilkie to be tried in the 216th so if it happens to you, request a change of courts or even a change of venue if necessary. I, and several other mistreated citizens of Kerr County, have reported their actions to the FBI and their is currently an investigation under way for the violation of our 4th amendment rights. I will also take this to the Texas Rangers. Fortunately, I am one of the few that has the money, the fight and am not afraid to go to every extreme to ensure they are exposed for who they are and I will not stop until Sgt. Wilkie, Mrs. Wilkie, Detective Pruvis, Detective Fowler and Detective Jurecski are out of jobs. I think I might even throw in Lieutenant Thompson. So, before you go degrading people and saying that they have to be crackheads, dope fiends or criminals to be speaking out against a corrupt law enforcement agency, think again.

"Aimee" - Will you please contact me by email at [email protected]? I will keep all of your information private but I'm very interested in hearing what you know because I am currently being targeted by Wilkie and his gang and I'm fighting back. I will not let this type of treatment continue to happen to the citizens of Kerrville and I can use all the ammunition I can get.
