Maybe they will have the woman that bit the pitbull that was attacking her dog as a guest.

I'm sure this will be yet another forum for Stanley Hubbard's conservative crusade.
I used to enjoy Eyewitness News (KSTP), but personalities like Cyndy Brucato and John Mason (especially him), have made me ill with their pro-conservative slant on the news. Dave Dahl still rocks, however!

This type of program has been missing here since the demise of Good Company. But, for it to work, the hosts have to have a speciial chemistry that Sharon Anderson and Steve Edelman broght to this type of format. Oh--And, if the Hubbards leave the show's producers alone. The new generation of Hubbards running KSTP have no clue how to run a succesful station. They fire people faster then the automotive industry. They can't even fix a news room because, they stick to outside consultants which have run this historic statioin down the toilet. I worked there once and I can tell you it is one big mess of a company and I have smiled every time I see them fail.

They should have hired Nancy Nelson...She has the energy and class to pull this type of show off...But, they more than likely think (the consultants)she is too old. Plus, she has more common sense then to work for this disfunctional family operation.

KSTP is the straightest, down the line, most non-political newscast in the twin Cities. Not even close.

Stanley Hubbard puts a lot of money in the local economy. Not a single other TV or radio station in locally owned and operated here. He does a lot for the community. I was mad at Mike Hatch for attacking him, though I never planned on voting for him. Stanley Hubbard has provided a living for many people across the state from Duluth, to Alexandria, to Austin, and back here.

This is too funny. Hubbard wants to revived "Good Company" with a FOX news-like slant and a bunch of blabbering spin doctors. What more does it get to see total whiteness on KSTP TV (5), regarding to political partisan.
Imagine this: Today's guest on Twin Cities Live: "looser Republican extremist David Strom; Carol Molnau making crying moments with Tom Hauser; and more importantly, GOP chairman Ron Carey releases his new music album 'highway to hell'(with apologies to AC/DC)."

Stanley only does what keeps his name alive...His father would roll over in his grave if he saw how the station's ratings have declined to last place. They just do not get it. In time, KSTP will be sold.

St Paul wrote: Maybe they will have the woman that bit the pitbull that was attacking her dog as a guest. That would be a interesting show !! Hey did you hear about that kid in Lino-Lakes (?) who shot the Neighbor's dog from his bedroom window with a bow-arrow - thinking the dog was a wolf or some kinda of game & also he had dead deer carcase in the yard to attract the "game" WOW this kid is a PROBLEM CHILD!!!

I hope this new show is successful. I too applaud Stanley and Rob Hubbard. They take a lot of crap from the newspapers who are so biased in their columns and coverage. KSTP is good for the Twin Cities local economy. While WCCO, KARE, and even talk that KMSP will soon have some cutbacks... it's nice to know that a family owned station, a local family owned station keeps good people employed. C.J. who loves hammering others especially those at KSTP is terrible as a guest on KMSP..she looks troubled and not sure of herself. It is so obvious she has an agenda. She's good friends with Angela Davis at WCCO... she always praises her, and trashes others at KSTP. It's laughable... C.J. should throw in the towel. I think KSTP is doing a great job with the best people. Keep up the great work!

I would love to have Steve and Sharon come back to KSTP - they were the best - there will never be anyone like them - they have been so successful since they left Minnesota that I don't think they wouuld ever think of coming back to Minnesota, but we sure wold love to have them back. They are better than Regis and Kelly - none of the other talk show hosts can top Steve and Sharon, not even Jay Leno or Letterman.

I am enjoying the TCL show and thank goodness for KSTP news - I can't stand the slant the other stations push on me so I refuse to watch them - will catch my news from KSTP and actually READ and investigage (!) to find other sources for my info. When Global Warming Don promised to return to our school to visit with the kids for the reading program several years ago, he reneged on his promise and also 'forgot' about a speech he was to give to our group home,; now denies that he ever said that he would return, so I have no confidence that he would be an honest media 'personality'. We give entirely too much adulation, admiration and pay compensation to news readers.

I for one, really like TCL! John and Rebekah have great chemistry. Although I loved Steve & Sharon, everyone remembers them the ages they were. Sharon will be 60 this year, and Steve is 70. I really doubt they could attract the demographics they are looking for, for ratings. John and Rebekah are young enough to bring a freshness to KSTP that they have been lacking. These hosts compliment each other. Rebekah brings the point of view of a wife and mother of young children. John is single, and a "sports guy", as he tells us, which is endearing. They are gems, and I hope this show makes it!
