Doctor: Suspect fit to stand trial in Sept. 4 stabbings at Holiday Inn

A doctor's report presented in Tulare County Superior Court on Thursday stated that a Kern County man accused of stabbing two Visalia hotel employees is mentally fit to stand trial.

i was the female friend that was there that nite with wade and i will have to disagree! wade needs help and thats whats wrong with this society.... so quick to throw someone in prison instead of giving them the help they need! what he did was wrong but think about it... what person in their right frame of a so called stable mind, would stab 2 people, then stay in the parking lot to turn himself in? i havent talked to wade since this aweful morning, but i feel for all the victims here. for the super nice woman mrs hunter and the security guard, and also wade and his family and children! we as a society need to be quicker to get people the help they need and find out why they do what they do rather than throw them into a 10x10 and expect the worst. i give my appologies to the workers as well as i remember talking with both of them earlier in the evening, and they were both great people! im sorry this happened and maybe one day you will forgive me as well as wade. hes not a bad guy, he was just mentally gone that nite. im sorry to all!
