I graduated high school with Jim and we were pretty close our senior year. There are many fond memories of the times we had, especially in that old, green '54 Pontiac convertible. We couldn't believe it when the Pontiac only got up to 80 miles an hour, downhill on the new Rt. 80. Jim said his mom and dad wouldn't let him have anything faster and he was proud of it anyway. After high school I joined the Navy and our mutual friend Jim Ohlinger was killed in Vietnam. In the 70's I moved to NC and I never could get up with Jim again. I wish I had. It would have been fun to reminisce. I'll miss him.

John: Thanks for sharing your memories of my Dad. He always loved cars. I am sure he would have been proud to tell you that a few years after high school, he managed to finagle himself a Corvette. It was his pride and joy until he wrecked it. I think he crashed it on the Ledgewood Circle. Hope all is well in NC and thanks again.
