First of all HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!!! Ok now that I got the laughing out of the way. Lets talk seriously here. We have to so called "officers" that are working Trimble. Ok thats fine and everything, but one goes home at 11 30 at night. The community ( not really a town ) is left unattended. The chief lives way the hell over in Gibson Co somewhere and most of the time she wont answer her pages or phone calls, much less do anything. Now I am not here to talk about Donna, I have called upon her several times and each time she has been sweet and professional, I congratulate her on at least attempting to do a good job. However, now we go to the "Mr I hide behind car wash on my cell phone cop" Don Curry. Yes Mr Curry, this guy stays on his phone all the time, he either sits behind the car wash or at the BP station. The other night I spoke to Curry, he likes he is better than me, Well Mr Curry ur not any better than onyone else and well from some of the people I work with and know personally, your not very much either. The people of Trimble need to have this guy removed, definetly from the TPD if we cant do any better than this, then may the Lord have mercy on us all!!! The mayor sucks ass also!!

So who all thinks we need some new cops. Because I think the ones we have do a pretty good job but we need another one. I think we need someone who knows the town and knows the people in Trimble. I feel that we need a police officer that lives in Trimble someone that when we call for a cop in the middle of the night don't take forever to get there. There is no cop around from 11:30pm to 9:00am or when one of our cops is on vacation or hase the day off there is no one to watch the town and something needs to be done about this. We need another cop because when there is no cop on duty people do what they want knowing they want get caught. If you feel the same way I do or something like it post it. Getting your voice out is the only way to make a change.

OMG, nothing in that town is going to change. That police dept is the same way it was years ago. I don't mean 20 or 30 years ago, because at that time it was a pretty good little p.d. But as far as getting Donna out of there...never gonna happen. She sits by as stuff she KNOWS is illegal goes on under her nose. As far as getting someone else that's worth anything...again: never gonna happen.

How can anyone from Morristown, TN or Lebanan, TN even have any input on Trimble's law system. For as large as our community is - I think it is a shame that we have to have two cops in the first place.
It is even sadder that the community is getting to where we are going to need a third law enforcer. But, I agree with not2noisy - hopefully the next one that they bring aboard the TPD will be working when the other 2 are off duty.
Don and Donna may live way out of town - But do at least beat the ambulance service to call's. Both Don & Donna are good people - Mabye the reason he was acting better than you is because he smelled through you?

Here is a great question for you? What do you expect for Don or Donna do while they are on duty? No matter if they are sitting in their office or at a post point in town -- They are working.
I fill more comfortable with them sitting around town:(1) They have a better view of what is going on.(2) With them being in the car - That means they are ready to respond quickly to a call that they receive on their scanner/radio/cell phone.(3) Kids & driver's will behave in the area that they are sitting.(4) With Don/Donna picking the same spot to sit at least you know where to find them when they are not in the office. And with them sitting up in town - they see you if you do show up at the station.
I think you have some personal issues concerning Don. Or you haven't looked around the other local towns. Look at Newbern - they have three officer's on duty at one time - when they are not patroling the neighborhood, you can find them all at Little General. Look at Dyersburg, no matter what day it is, you will find the officers posted at a parking lot, a gas station, or together at Taco Tuesday at Los Lomas.

Now see dburgdude....

One thing that you need to know about this little community is that NO ONE minds their own damn business. Especially, when our very own are being slandered without knowing it because they are too busy doing their job than being on the Internet.

As for the Charter statement that can go two ways:

Charter as the drink: I am more of a Jagermeister & tequilia lady - This is because it takes getting stupid in order to talk to stupid.

Charter as the company: I am more uptown than most - I have been blessed to travel outside of the state line to know there is more to life & ways than your shallow-minded/think you know-it-all-ways......

It would be nice if you would tell us the story. Because right now - I still stand behind my earlier comments.

You haven't even answered what you would like them to do while our "precious" Don & Donna are on duty.

If your right - I am lady enough to send my apologies.... But, if your wrong, bow and exit and stay worried about your own community.

Jenny are u stupid? The town of Trimble has a Charter and in the Charter it states that the town of Trimble, yes the glorious shit hole of Trimble, will provide 24 hr service to police and fire services, well ummmmmmmm 7am to 1130pm isnt 24 hrs hun, they need to surrender the charter. Oh and the board meeting, instead of worrying about how much to charge for a sheet of copy paper, or how much to charge for a business permit lets focus on other things, the curfew violaters, the speeders, the drug abuse, stuff that needs to have attention, NOT ON MY GOD I GAVE A SHEET OF PAPER OUT FOR FREE!!!

What they should do??? The mayor should hire an additional officer to provide 8 hrs of service and cover all 24 hrs. As far as the entire story dont worry about that. I dont know about you but if someone were to break into my home or business I would not want to have to wait to find out is "UR PRECIOUS DONNA OR DON" answered their phone or not, and if they did u still have a good 20 min what time. Hell in 20 mins I could rob the bank and be gone. Anyway, enjoy ur Charter cable and ur Charter Vodka. Later Birdbrain
