This is why we need to have regulated electric and gas! Not for profit. AEP and a 20 million dollar CEO says it all!

$1000 a month? Is this a business? Or a household? Damn that's a lot of money.

turn the lights off when not in use dont run your tv 24/7 like most ppl do limit the kids game time to only a few hours and not 20 hours a day. Dont use a/c to the point you need to wear a coat in the place. geez get a life figure it out it is not that hard to lower your bills.

Bill went from 350 to 450. Turn heat back to 55 every day and burning wood to help at night. This carriier heat pump is supposed to be efficient but there has to be a better way. Something is ring. People can't afford this.

The people voted to agrigate. This lets the City remove you from your supplier to their choosen supplier. Because of the amount of electricity purchased by the larger group they have more bargining power and can get a much better rate. Unfortunately they have contracted with IGS for a rate of .07 and many of us were closer to .05 a rate you can't get now. Call the city and the Council and complain. It has been in the Columbus Dispach whst s scam IGS is. PULL THE PLUG ON IGS. GET US A BETTER RATE LIKE YOU PROMISED WHEN YOU SOLD THE PLAN.

I turn heat back to 55 every day through the week and run an Eden pure heater to heat one room when it isn't so awful cold. Have an 18 what bulb burning in evening. There aren't any kids using video games orcturning lights on and off. Run the dryer and dishwasher when have a full load. That Carrier heat pump sucks electricity. People can't afford it. Looking at the bill Jefferson is right. The rate is increased about $.02 per kW which calculates out to the increase. That is about a 40% increase. What master mind at city hall figured out this one and who is getting a kickback. Tell everyone to call the city. They can learn there power in numbers.

That has nothing to do with it. The price keeps going up regardless of how many items you shut off. You can have all the energy conservation ideas you want they (CEO'S) are going to get there profits one way or another! Stand up to this instead of being a sheep.

Just think how all those people in other countries that don't have electricty feel. It's not fair we have it and they don't.. Untill they can have it it should be turned off for everyone, then we'd all be equal

fair most modern countries have power and if u are waiting on the third world to have power you may be waiting for hundreds of years. To much political corruption and lack of resources. The difference is our lifestyles and country rely on it their's does not they are used to it. Those people are not waiting or feeling bad about no power they are more concerned with clean water medicine and protection power is not a priority at this point they have much bigger problems to solve first. Introducing electricity to them will be a long process and scary for some just like the early 1900s here people were sceptical and feared it at first here. Some African cultures believe it's the work of the devil and access
avoid it altogether. So asking us to wait is plain crazy and would collapse our system

What would you expect from the Goons uptown? They can't handle what they are supposed to, let alone utility aggregation. Maybe your increase in rate is their "cut"of the take. Everybody thought they were shafting the man. Looks like they pulled a double reverse trick f&%k on you again.Should've read the fine print. It said not that you would save money. It said you may have the opportunity to save. Translation-Bite the pillow baby, I'm goin' in dry.
