Colored feller?? Ok..Anyway, he's very friendly. Waves at everyone and how often does that happen anymore? I bet if you asked him, he'd be willing to help.

i've seen troy alot this past year playin his guitar infront of subway, ive heard alot of nice things about the guy and yes he's handicaped, although this past spring i was taken back by what he was doing on a library computer.. he was making comments about some girls on the computer, they looked to be about 12-14.. he guestured to the person sitting accross of him saying "wooo look at that" and "hmmm ain't that somethin". personally thats a red fucking flag right there! i gave him a dirty look and left. This is all the town needs is a another sick ass pervert!!

Troy is the nicest guy ever! I have stopped and talked to him plenty of times. He always asks how you are and makes sure you're ok. He has a good heart. Thats hard to find in people around here. We call him Cowboy Troy. He is a great guitar player and he really has touched the hearts of People from the Kenton area.

troy works at head start as janitor if you want to ask him about lessons go there, he is a very nice man he was brought here from another state by Micha Smith (dr, smiths kid) and they just put him on the streets

He was not put on the streets, he went to live in a group home where his cost are covered my his medical. At the group home he is given freedom to walk around with his friends and try to live as normal life as possible. If he was ooing and aweing at young girls on the computer he has never taken it past that. He is mentally handicapped with the mentality of about 11-12 year old at best. He is very into the thunder cats for god sake if that tells you how old he can think. I am sure he would be happy to help with guitar lessons. he is happy here, he stated that when he lived in Oklahoma people that were supposed to take care of him would steal his money and then he couldn't buy his collectibles or go do anything, he loves living here and said that almost everyone has been nice to him. He also thinks that world of the SMith's who have taken him into their family and who he spends every holiday with. Unless you know that story it is probably best not to say anything. I know these things because I befriended him and invite him over for dinner with my family or to come play video games with the kids which he loves to do. :)

thay's probably the nicest thing I have ever heard someone make the nicest comment about someone on this site. Bless you for it. I don't personally know this Troy, but he sure seems like a nice guy. If the Smith's like him, he must not be that bad!

Troy is as nice a person as you would want to meet. Yes, he's like a teenager, but I'd rather he was looking at girls instead of guys, know what I mean? He wasn't just brought here and left to fend for himself. It's nice to read some positive things on this website for a change. You couldn't ask for a better friend in Troy.

and now because maybe everyone has a little better understanding of disabilities, instead of giving him a dirty look and thinking of him as a pervert (at the library), maybe just a little word of advice would have been more helpful, like maybe just reminding him that since he is over 18 and an adult that it is inappropriate to be looking at underage girls. He may have the likes and thoughts of a teenager but may just need someone to advice him that it's inappropriate. He is a great guy and wouldn't intentionally do something that he may regret but maybe that he didn't quite understand. It's great to see the community being so open to folks with disabilities and recognizing their talents; we also have to remember that part of their disability may be making poor judgement calls.
