No way. Is it seriously the same kid? If so his license do need to be taken for a bit and he needs to go through driver's ed all over again before he kills himself or someone else.

Come on people seriously! We didn't buy him the Kia it was my car he borrowed to go to lifting. You know nothing so don't judge us. Leave my family alone. If you have issues with us or my child come see us. We can have coffe and discuss like adults your issues. However don't mess with my child! If you know anything at all about life you would know things happen. This boy didn't set out to hit a semi head on or wrap his car around a telephone pole. He didn't drive his car up a pole. He actually hydroplaned his car in dec. this time he did go left of center. He didn't do it on purpose. Like I said if you have issues come see us. This could easily bee anyone of you. This could be your children if you have them.

His Mom, of course he didn't do it on purpose, that's why it's called an "accident", and I wasn't talking crap just stating that he probably should redo driver's ed for HIS benefit. Or maybe even a hazardous driving class. Your son is 16 years old and has faced death twice now, and he is lucky, damn lucky to be a live. I wish him well, and hope he fully recovers very soon. I don't even know this boy but would rather his family watch or pay for him go through driver's ed or w/e than pay his funeral.

I'm sorry for the pain that your son has caused you (and yes he is the one who has caused this, it was he who caused these accidents regardless of how you want to defend it) but his irresponsibility is the issue here. He has caused two of these horrible accidents in a short timeframe and you seem to brush it off as “things happen” and he “didn’t do it on purpose” but the truth is it is still his fault and he is a danger on our roadways.

You say “don’t mess with my child” but the fact is next time he might kill someone and that someone might be my child; you need to think about that as it seems he isn’t.

Driving is a responsibility, not a right. Keep our roads safe or don’t be on them.

Beautifully said.
To the Mother, just stop whatever it is you are "trying" to say.
You come across as sounding irresponsible yourself.

I will defend my child as any parent would. Was it an irresponsible move on his part? Yes it was. Is HE paying the price for it? Yes.... It's a high price to pay. All I'm saying is he can't in no way defend him self so we as his parents will. We are well aware of driving being a responsibility. Our pain is our pain. We shall deal with it. If you haven't been in this position you don't know. My child is still fighting for his life. All I'm saying as a mother is he is going through enough as are we. We hear the things people say. We see the things you post. Please don't bash on a kid who cannot even respond to you to defend it.

Are you seriously gonna sit here and bash some one for doing something that we have all done?! Show me someone who hasn't been distracted while driving or are all of you perfect? His mom isn't saying that it isn't his fault. I am thinking if you don't know all od the facts and if you aren't walking in their shoes, then just maybe you should not be judging! Let him heal in peace ! He has enough to work through without you throwing stones!

I totally agree with this! No one will ever understand what u are going through unless they have experienced it themselves! With that being said why would you waste your time and energy on posting or defending him while he is so sick. Use your energy for more positive things. There will always be someone here to say something negative. I do agree that he might need some more training for driving but this is not the time to hash that out. Spend time with him not here trying to defend him to people that are just here to voice negative comment.

It's really stupid how people say what they want and believe everything they hear. He is my best friend this could be anyone. The main thing is that he is alive. I'm really thankful that he is. This could be me, you, or anyone so please dont judge. I would appreciate it and he has got an awesome family. They are like family to me

I a praying for this boys recovery, I am praying for this boys well being.

he was fighting for his life. It's easy for everyone to judge people. I certainly hope you you never go through a situation like this. The way I see it do what you got to do to stay sain in a horrible situation. This young man has and is still going through issues. Hope he has a fast and speedy recovery. Good luck to him and his family. to you stpd put yourself in their shoes. You never know what you would do. I know I wouldn't. Also I have to agree with you his mom protect what's yours because you can blink and it could all be gone!

Actually yes I am. When your distracted driving almost cost you, your life once, you're suppose to learn from it, or get the crap scared enough out of you to be more cautious. Everyone has made mistakes in some way or another, but we're suppose to learn from them and become better than we were before.

From my understanding this young man went left of center in front of a semi, what about that driver? That truck driver now has to pay the price for this child's irresponsible driving. Sure it may not be a financial price, but for a long time to come I'll guarantee that truck driver will relive that accident.

What if instead of a semi the other driver was on a motorcycle, another car, etc that could have killed the other driver and/or passengers? Would you still be singing the same tune, or would you be asking why this young man even has a licenses since at 16 he already has an accident on his record?

Seems no one cares? Are you not able to read? Most care, that's why they are questioning this young man driving again so soon after his first accident. I don't even know this kid, yet I have wished him and his family well. I also suggested he redo a driver's ed class, why would I suggest that if I had no caring?
