well i was born there and have been there for everything...even had a kid there... so i can at lest say that over the years they have become better... i remember that we used to spend 5+ hours in the er... now its a max of 2 depending on the seriousness of the problem... i dont have a problem with them.... if u go there and dont agree with the Dx then go get a second opinion. would u rather us not have a hospital and u have to be transported to another one 20+ mins away. what if it wasur loved on in a car crash and they didnt make it in time...then u would wish HMH was here to back you up. we live in a small town so we get a "small" hospital... give kenton a few yrs and we might progress to a better hospital. but they have the knowlage to save lives so let them do their job.

I think it depends on when you go in. Let me explain...if you go into the ER after the radiologist has left for the day, the doctor has to read the xray the best he can. He has to wait until the next working day to have the radiologist read the xray to get the "official" reading. I believe that's why it's sometimes a day or two later before the "official" results are in. This happens at any small hospital where they don't have a radiologist there 24/7. Now, when you're taken down for an xray, that's just an xray tech that takes you, not the one that reads the xrays. So don't get the two confused. Hope this helps.

This is what happened to me. The only difference is I couldn't walk the next day and my wife called the squad. I had the best insurance around at the time. Honda insurance they still didn't do their job correctly at HMH. I hope you filed a lawsuit against them.
no i didnt. i figured it wouldnt go in my favor anyway! you know how the town is. but when i got out of the hospital, my husband and i went up and and talked to the lady in charge of the WHOLE hospital! i told her what happened, well what i could rem. and she said she would take care of it. well, lets just say, that i havent seen that doc there since!! i wish i would have, cuz it took a tole on my 3 kids, only had 2 at the time,..and myself and my family! i just wish they'd get their heads out of their asses, and do their jobs!! you know, the ones they paid all that money for to go to college!!

Human error is what kills people. Professionals at HMH. Please, they sat there and talked about my wife when she was having a heart attack. When they wanted to transport her they made the statement to the EMT's that they will need additional help to lift her because she was a big one. Almost 500lbs. That right there is so unprofessional.
well if that is the case then yes it is unprossional to speak so poorly of a PT with in ear shot ... But if your wife is that heavy then their is NO possional or pill that can make her healthy it sounds like she has taken her owne health into a very poor direction and a heart attack and many more medical problems is bound to take over her life (SAD ) then we blame others hmmmmm

This is the problem with approximately 90% of the people that visit Hardin Memorial's ER...THEY GO THERE ALL THE TIME!!!! When will the "fine folks" of Kenton, Ohio get with the program and realize that an emergency room should not be treated as if it is your family doctor?!?!? But then again why the hell should most of them care? They're all on Medicaid and hard working taxpayers like yours truly gets to foot the bill for these free loaders! Yes I'm talking to you Forest Court, Scioto Village, Eagle's Point (Basically any of those shit holes behind Peeble's). If it were possible to do a survey of all the visitors at the ER, it would astonish you as to how many times the same person(s) visit within a fiscal year. The nurses and doctors that work there are fantastic. The reason they may look annoyed or mentally drained on most occasions is because all you people are going there with non-life threatening situations! I don't know if you like the attention or are just a genuine piece of shit, but please stop going so damn much. You're stinking up the waiting room and you are a fright to look at!

There is a parable that involves how to capture wild pigs. First, you put free food out, and they become accustomed to it, and keep coming back. Then, you begin to build a fence around the food, and finally a gate. After a time, the pigs get comfortable enough to keep coming back because of the food, not realizing they're about to be captured, and suddenly, the gate swings closed.

Human farming is no different, and "free" stuff usually comes at the cost of FREEdom.

Your son didn't go "code blue" in an ambulance. Code Blue means cardiac arrest, or in Kenton terms "Ticker done stopped workin'"

Just be careful if you have any kind of blood work. the girls that work in there, talk to much about personal matters. Billie Gammon for one. so if you want to keep things unknown, better go somewhere else. That is a fact.I no longer have any test there because she was running her mouth about different people BEWARE.just a little FYI

That's the kind of thing people get fired over, Larry. In fact, it's a crime. If you know who is doing it, please do file a complaint with Ohio medical board.

IF what you say is true, that is WRONG and should be dealt with. It's a Hippa violation and should be reported. Find online where you can file a Hippa Complaint and report this kind of loose lips behavior. It's my understanding they will be fined if they are found guilty but you have to do it within (i think) 6 months of the incident. If it ever happens to me and I find out about it, they are getting reported.

If your son was that sick why would u allow him to go to a game the next day regardless of what a doctor says. If my son is passing out and that hospital wouldn't do anything. I would have been at the next hospital not another ball game.Use some common sense.

No I don't work at the hospital and yes I am a mother who has had to tell her kids sorry your not playing. Guess what, they weren't happy about it but they got over it. My job is to protect them and use my best judgement when it comes to their health. If he was collapsing the night before why would u allow him to go? So what if he gets mad. And there are ways to keep even a senior from playing when needed. As far as how much money I have that doesn't matter. When it comes to my kids health I will pay bills the rest of my life if I have to. Id rather have my kid than worry about a payment each month.
