Prosecutors charge Auburn man with second-degree murder in Lea Hill shooting

Gerardo Rodriguez-Munoz, 43, waits in jail at the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent on $1 million bail for allegedly killing Chad Venegas, 32.

Chad didn't deserve this. He went for the road trip. Why this girl took him there only she knows. Gerardo doesn't need to be on the streets. If you carry a gun and use it without thinking and the out come is where you take that persons life. You should be locked up for life. Gerardo is still able to see his kids. Will Chad's kids have him. Only the memories of him. Even if that?
Not asking for Gerardo's life. Just his freedom. He and that girl have to live with what they have done to Chad. He had a very big loving heart, with many friends and family who truly loved him.

I think this guy is a nutt and should get life in prison without parol.And should never get to see his kids .He knew very well what he was doing sounds like a real sick-o .No one desearves to die like that.

THANX, it sounds like U knew my lil brother Chad I say that because he was a VERY CARING, LOVING, RESPECTABLE man who extremely loved his kids, family & his friends my lil brother Chad was COLD HEARTEDLY murdered by a individual who decided to play God in which he cowardly took my brother's life he died because he was an OUTSTANDING man he was doing what not many ppl would have done he was defending a female from an EXTREMELY VIOLENT individual that is how we were raised as kids 2 help others in need I AM PROUD 2 say my brother & I were raised w/strong morals Gerardo deserves to be charged w/1st degree murder NOT 2nd I deeply love & miss my lil brother MR. CHAD ANTHONY VENEGAS MAY YOU FOREVER rest in peace fly w/the angels
