Ok. Frst, I have seen LOTS of pictures on Instagram of high school students smoking pot, rolling joints, pics of their bongs, drinking, etc. I cannot believe that kids today are so brazen and bold as to put pics of it on the internet! Are they not worried that their parents will see it, or worse yet, the police? And some of the kids are middle school aged, popular kids!

Next, have u seen the pics from the prom and how the kids are dancing? Not one of them is dancing face to face, they are all grinding! My friend was a chaperone at the dance and one girl had her dress pulled up to her waist and her thong was showing for all the world to see! The front of some boys tuxedos had even changed to the color of their dates drfesses because they were grinding so hard! One girl at my church said thats why she didnt want to go to the dance, because if you dont dance that way, the other kids ridicule you and you become a social outcast.

My question is, where are their parents? It scares the cap out of me if this is what my babies will have to deal with growing up!

what can some of the parents do.well if you try to correct and make your kids mind,. then they are calling cps on the parent or the police, try to make them go to school they just lay there telling you to ---------.then if they dont go to school guess who get put in jail... the parents now days dont even have rights,,, I look at it this way the kids need to beheld responsable for their own actions not the parent this is the reason why the kids are so out of control the parents are not allowed to be parents,, I know I have gown up watching my friends to this to their parents and they have had wonderful respectfull parents the kids now they can get by with it ,, even our teachers cant do anything while kids stand their a cuss and scream at them .they no the can get by with it

I agree with what you all are saying, and there are still some good kids out there trying to live and the right thing. But who is allowing there kids to learn these behaviors? Who is buying these kids the skimpy clothes and raunchy prom dresses? When I was a kid, MTV was blocked from my house, boys were only allowed in the living room, and I didn't go to a dance until my Junior year of high school. And even back then MTV was still pretty much PG, considering today's standards and yes, kids were losing their virginity in the eighth grade. Today, we do live in a world, where our kids can be taken away with just one phone call. There is, however, an investigation process that is conducted before children are removed. The parent has to pass a drug test and children are physically and mentally evaluated. Children are not removed from homes because they do not agree with their parents rules. And that is the problem, there are no rules. Poor examples are being set for our future leaders. My fb is covered with my friends children in their prom dresses, and their daughters are half dressed. What is going to go through a teenage boys mind when they pick up their date in a sequined bikini top, low rise skirt, and high heels? Parents just don't care about the importance of values anymore, but only on buying whatever makes little Johnny or Suzie happy. Our children's actions are a reflection of us, I hope I have taught my children well enough so they won't make me look like an ass, when they are teenagers.

What concerns ME is that kids will have to grow up with parents that think its good to come on a site like Topix and trash other kids. Kudos for not actually using names but you ARE a parent right? So you want your kid to know its good to voice their concerns behind cowardly fake names? Try throwing some of those stones at yourself

I'm not the one trashing kids on here douche. I think there's a difference. I can see based on your lack of response to the points I made you are another sh/tty parent that teaches their kids its best to voice your opinions THIS way instead of face to face like a REAL adult would.

You can't conclude shit about me or my values but the world can certainly see that you like to run your mouth and talk out of both sides of that nasty hole in your head.

The world also see's you not talking about the subject at hand. You are an internet badass that is obvious. I'm frightened of you. Yet, you continue to dodge the subject that is talked about. Continue to teach your children that a REAL man solves his issues on TOPIX.

I guess you are a parent or relation of one of the kids in the photos??? Make sure and tell your kid that she looked like a ho out there acting that way and your family should be embarrassed by the pictures. Or, teach your son how to treat girls in public. If not, wth does it even matter to you? No one is trashing kids on here. And stones.....no one is throwing them, they are in your head rattling.

If you are a parent who likes to say "suckit", nice role model. If you are a kid who says it, must be a really bad dude, or a lttle punk. MORE than likely the latter, a little scrawny punk with punk hair, earrings, pants halfway down hindend, showing your behind to the world. What a man!!!
