Both need the boot just like the gave to Favre. The train has left the station and they both are aboard. God Bless the 2010 season. Red head owner should be fired as well.....they are all an embarrassment to the team and us fans need to react and get our way

Here it is. Mike McCarthy will ride last years success for another year (at least). I do not agree with this AT ALL but this is how I think it goes down. The guy cannot play call, game plan, or ADJUST during a game. If I hear this joker claim that poor fundamentals of the game are the reason this young and talented team(at least in some areas)is 5-8 I will scream! Firing Ted Thompson wouldn't bother me but we definately need a coaching shake up. Someone who is passionate and takes responsibility for not having his team ready. Somebody like Cowher?? DEFINATELY!
Problem is that the powers that be are notoriously slow to recognize a poor fit and slow to react to it. I see it in some fans. "Well look what he did last year.... " Last year was an aboration, he is a loser! Lets move on and get this thing headed in the right direction again. I am not calling for Brett to return, I love Brett, but Rodgers is doing fine. I would even call him a bright spot and I wouldn't have guess that. This team needs to draft a DT and pick up another DT and/or middle linebacker. Hawk is a bust! Cool name, good attitude but no performance. I am tired of seeing our linebacking corps tackling 5 to 7 yards downfield every play or not covering anyone! Okay I feel better. Oh yeah one more thing, FIRE MIKE MCCARTHY NOW!!!!!!!!!!

no way. you fans have no faith. Your posts don't make sense! what does Ted Tompson have to do with injury's, what does he have to do with the defense blowing games. this is one year! when Ted Thompson started the packers were 4-12 than we went 8-8. Then we went 13-3, almost made a super bowl. How could you want to fire him, just a year ago we all loved him. Now you all seem to hate him , but i sill love him. Mike Mccarthey is a great coach and you should not blame him for defensive tackling. This is my oppinion not fact like most of you think your posts are. If you know so much how come your not in the nfl. How come you are a loser who posts things.

realistic packer fan you are a joke. Total loser. You call a succesful coach a loser but look at yourself. You don't know anything but you think you are so cool. Either your not a packer fan or your an idiot. Hawk a bust? didn't expect aaron Rodgers to do well? after reading this post my one reaction was: man i am glad i am not you!

I'm a Packer fan for life, but McCarthy HAS to go!!! The problems with the defense come down to coaching!!! McCarthy is WAY to conservative and seems to like playing for field goals, and we all know that's NOT how you win games!

The Packers are collapsing late in the season. They just don't believe. Who instills the proper attitude? The coach should but I think we’re learning that Farve did it last year. He’s the guy who made a good team great – one last time. Well the old man is gone and it’s time to move on.

I think we’re seeing our coach as he really is, a bad coach riding on the shoulders of great players. And I think it’s the GMs fault for not seeing the truth.

Recent history has shown that each time a Packers coach has a bad year he is replaced. Let’s hope that history rings true again today.

McCarthy simply can't run a two minute drill! What the **** is this throwing down the middle of the field every darn game when everything is on the line? Any Pop Warner kid knows you work the sidelines. Why? It freaking works. MM evidently doesn't know this. Is he trying to be sneaky?[He doesn't have the IQ to be sneaky.] How many games have they lost in the last couple minutes? The fact is we have an idiot running the offense, an idiot caught in the headlights.

YES, YEs and Yes...I agree that McCarthy will get another year...but he cant coach so he will be gone next year.
Thompson is out of here....and good F%$#&^% ridence....Sharper,Moss,Favre. .and even KGB? who side is this guy on....
The Owner Guy he should fall on his sword too...he was all for letting Favre GO...13-3 to 6-10 (At Best) no one can dispute that had they kept Favre for one more year we would have won the division and made the playoffs...I think we would be #2 seed at least.
Rogers is a good QB...but he doesnt know how to win the close games...and that was five of thier losses this year at least..Favre would have won...Because thats what he does....look at what he did with a young, undiscovered team like the Jets...with a team he helped build, players he knew, and a offense he mastered....we were robbed of one more shot at the trophy no doubt...and now heads should roll for it....

Yep, let the fur fly. Losing the same way that many times is an indication of a systemic problem. Mike can't fix the problem, so he has got to go.

Mike McCarthy must go. Since he has coached this team I really believe there have been a number of games lost because of a stupid offensive call. Whether it was his call or the offensive coach this is unacceptable for a team that came so close to going to the Super Bowl last year. And we all know that was because of ol' number 4. No matter what anyone believe's if Favre were still here we would be in the hunt for another Super Bowl with this team. McCarthy and Thompson (what has he done anywhere) are so egotistical they allowed a storied franchise to tarnish itself over the Bret Favre situation. It is not a secret that he was not really ever given an overwhelming feeling to return by the previously mentioned idiot's. If you have any football sense you will admit that Packer fan's were cheated out of a possible Super Bowl championship due to the jerks running this team and organization. I just hope the ship can be righted before it goes back to becoming a losing franchise again. Hell yes I'm bitter. You should be two when you are cheated out of Bret Favre's last few years, no matter the circumstances.

By the way did you see that great play calling against the Bears. 3rd and 19 an we run a draw play which got stuffed in our rear end. On 3rd and 19 from where we were (deep on our end)you pass beyond the first down yardage needed. It's not like we should be playing conservative football to protect us from getting knocked out of first place.
One other thing while I'm venting. I really believe this group of Ogre's we call an offensive line should be given an IQ test. They have got to be the most unorganized group of linemen ever put on a field. Always a penatly at a crucial time.
And our coach doesn't seem to see it. Go figure though. Coach McCarthy's best game plan is the route to the buffet he he has his sight set on after the game.
I'm from Illinois just outside of St. Louis (don't even got here.I hate the Ram's)and have been a Packer die hard forever but I'm beginning to lose faith in this organization quickly.

This is what's going to happen. If the Packers beat the Lions then the Owner will give McCarthy and Thompson another year and they will go like 7-9 next year. If however they lose, they should both get fired immediatley for going from 13-3 to 5-11 or 6-10. They have been my favourite team since i was like 4 and I loved them and followed them my whole life. I'm beginning to lose faith in their team. They have the good players but somethings missing, and the packers head office needs to find out what.

I agree, fire Ted Thompson and Mike Mccarthy..... Even if they beat the Lions.. Hell, if the Packers only beat the Lions by 7 points, it'll still be a loss in my book... You know what??? Would it be wrong as a Packer fan to cheer for Detroit if it means Ted and Mike might get fired???? Hmmmmmm!!!!! GOOOOO Lions!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a packer fan my whole life and when this off season came along i was behind the packers all the way even when Brett Favre retired and i wanted rodgers. But then they traded there very talented Dt williams and then released Koren Robinson which was one of the reasons they won so many games last season. I watched one packer game this season and they stunk the whole game. The only game was the cowboy game which they would get in the red zone and fail again and agian. It just showed how Brett Favre really duc Mike out of his stupid play calling and how Brett really did help alot. So by this crappy play calling and by how bad there off season was i would say fire both of them and all of the management that let this happen.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Leo

If there have been slight tensions or frictions between you and a loved one recently, this is the perfect day to get them out into the open, thrash them out and then forget about them. Things could get quite heated in the process but don't worry because they'll work out all right in the end. Put as much energy into kissing and making up as you did in arguing!
