Wow, imagine that, a hip decor and Susan is all moist about this place even though it cost $103 for 6 appetizers - the gimmick of Tapas restaurants is that they get you to pay whole dinner prices for a fractional portion. Oh well, at least she was "satisfied" once or twice - just close your eyes and imagine the encounters below:
"The sticky sweet ribs got salty, buttery flavor and texture from salted pine nuts, and ginger ice cream, with sweet heat that hung at the back of the throat as it melted, played against the ribs in savory perfection." - Hmm, sweet heat from the nuts that hangs at the back of the throat.....
"It's this extravagance of gustatory and visual sensuality that catapults dining at Honey way beyond sustenance into a realm of sensory delight." Wow, I'm counting the hot, hot days of summer until my next encounter with Susan Gottshall, unnnngh.....yeah.
