APC, Let's all boycott topix!

Pastor Ron made the sugestion today that we all make a "pact" to boycott topix %100, no reading and no more posting and I agree with him.

It comes down to this... When you truly know who you are in Christ, it does not matter what anyone else says about you, only that you know you are forgiven and doing the best you can in HIM!

This has been too hurtful to too many people and it is full of lies, and half truths. The editors of this site are obviously more concerned with "visits and hits" than they are our church family and our community.

I know there are still hurt feelings, but WE ALL need to work them out with each other at the altar and not by bashing each other on here.

If you agree please just make one last post on here saying simply...

"Yes I agree! I too will Boycott Topix"

This will take dicipline because it is very tempting to "see what is happening" in here...

I hope to see you all at church and I pray that when we look eye to eye... we can truly hug and put all this behind us!

I have a thread on topix that is reaching souls! I will not stop this thread until the day that God tells me to. I for one am all for doing WHATEVER it takes to reach the lost souls! I agree that this is a horrible place, but the fact is that you DO NOT have to read the other threads! I am sorry if I offend because I am not trying to, I promise you that! I am just here to say that you should look for the "Jesus" thread and stay there and only there. I don't read the other threads anymore just for the simple fact that the devil is loose in them. I read this one bc I am a member of APC, so this was to me also. I would love to see you all in my thread, help me reach souls. If that will hinder you in any way, please continue on with the boycott. I would not want for you to become tangled in the temptation to gossip with the others or read the gossip from the others. Once more, I am a member of APC that is on fire for Christ and will do anything it takes to reach the lost! I will continue on with the "Jesus" thread until God tells me otherwise. Please believe me that this is a hard decision for me to make and it took alot of prayer and alot more prayer to make this decision. I love you all and I love Pastor Ron and Mrs. Lawson also. I know that this is long but I had to get my point across. Again, I love you all and you are all my family!

Ok I see both sides here and I feel indifferent. but I know Jesus was around sinners and generally spent time witnessing with them,(He would have rather) but maybe the thread should have maybe read something like "for the ones that are hurt by topix boycott it." I will pray about it but Sam I made a promise to Him. I love you and I want you to pray with me about it. Chas

Honey, you have been hurt bad by topix! I have been hurt bad also, but as you said "I made a promise to Him." I have promised Him that I will continue on until He says stop. Chas, go to Godtube.com ! That site is a good one! You can also go to youtube but be careful! I posted a couple of the youtube videos that I liked on my Jesus thread. Search Karen Wheaton, chosen and you will see some of the dramas that we are learning. This is a way to spend your time with God instead of on this site! Well call me! Love ya ......

I am re-thinking my strategy as well about an all out boycott.

I think the other thread has been deleted and is now gone. It may be better to have the administratiors number and keep him aware of any abuses. I think he is a reasonable man.

If we keep up whith any abuses and contact him one after the other when there is an abuse we may be able to keep things cleaned up. I called him this morning. Got an answering machine. I know others called him as well.

Keep going on with the witnissing. Jesus dined with sinners. If we keep an eye on things and do not post to negative strings but call and keep the admin. aware, it may be ok.

New strategy: Do not post to negative strings at all. Contact administrator of the Kennett topix site immediatly upon finding an abuse.

Sam, and Pastor Ron, I will stand behind the idea/plan of witnessing to folks on this site and avoid the ugly ones. I know who I am in Christ and He and I are also the ones who knows my past and everyone elses'. I am a very strong Christian who will not be defeated and I will stand for what I know to be right, with my head held high through the words of Jesus. I will also admit, when I saw the post directed to me I did let flesh take over. I apologize. I will continue to post on Morning Coffee and pray about reaching folks through this topix site and give it a complete turn around. That people will want to come to this site, not because of the gossip, but because of the conversations that help, not hurt others. Bless everyone, and I love you all.

I am so glad that the other thread was removed. And Chas, your past is exactly that...your past...when God forgave you it was wiped away never to be brought up again...by ANYONE. So don't worry when people try to judge you because you know that the Father is your only judge and he wiped that slate clean. As for the post following yours, we need to pray that person asks Gods forgiveness. I was sickened on the last thread by all that went on and then when I saw your name and another couples name brought up all I could do was pray that God would help us get rid of the vicious thread. I may not be with you in the flesh anymore, but we all have the same goals and that is to live for God and to win souls to Christ. I love all of you. You are my family and I truly do miss you, but I just had to move on. God bless you all and God bless APC.

To boycott is what was suggested by my Pastor Ron, But then he and several other prayed about it and we decided to try and reach people through this place. I will not go away and I will always stand for what I know to be right.
I don't believe this site is for anything you said. But I will say this, God knows and that's that. I will pray for you. I think it's kinda like when you was in kindergarden....you start a sentence and send it on down the line,,,,when you get to the end, it's completely different. I can't make everyone like me, but when I decided to live for the Lord, I went with clean hands and a clean heart. Im sorry you feel this way about me, get to know me now and draw a conclusion, since you have so much expressed what you think I stand for. I had a very hard time forgiving a certain person from my past, but with the Lord, all things are possible!!! With your statement sounding so harsh I think this is only putting distance between YOU and the Lord. Please pray about it.

Chasity, I don't attend church with you and I don't see you anymore since you left the Doctor's office but I want you to know something.

I'm very proud of you. I hate that someone is working so hard to hurt you publicly. I have never had ONE bad thought of you, honestly I never knew MOST of anything said about you on here and guess what? It hasn't changed my oppionion of you in the least.

I think you're beautiful and very sweet. I admire you for taking a stand and I pray for your strength and courage. You're fabulous.

I attend chruch at Abiding Peace and it's awesome. I love it. I've attend church in the past, one church for about 3 yrs or longer,(cant remember exact time) and I want to say this is the first time in my life that I have actually wanted to study the Bible. My family and I have attended APC for right at a year, and believe me, the love, strenght, and knowledge that comes from the Lord is exactly what we all need to search for. I am truely thankful that God trusted me enough with MY life to finally figure out with failures and faults that all I needed was Him. I like the way I wear my make up, I've never been a gay person, or any of the other stuff said. I am proud of who I am, that's why I post my name. I can't "make" everyone like me, but I will pray about their distance between them and the Lord. I know it states in the Bible to forgive and not to be full of hate. And it also states if you can't forgive, How can I (the Lord)forgive you. I will alway look to Him first and always stay strong. And just for the record,,,,since you do know me, you know what has been said are only what u stated. Someone trying to hurt me. BUT then the LORD, with persecutions comes blessings. I started this thread in hopes that something would be done about some of the horrible things being said about my church family in other threads. Now this thread has also been hi-jacked.

Maybe wisdom would be to boycott, but never the less... lol... here we are. Friends are a good thing to have, and kind words are a huge encouragement when you are fighting "the gossip".

I am very proud of how some of my church family are responding to the evil things being said about them and I pray they can continue to "walk in love" no matter what is said about them in here. Keep up the good fight!

.. and yes "seriously".. she knows exactly what she is talking about... it's in referance to this scripture:
