Pretty much whenever they want. They have no set hours. The old hag opens it when she feels like it.

Causbie's is great. I love the chocolate chip cookies. I never seem to be able to catch them open though. When I do, I buy a few dozen and I'm sure I gain more than a few pounds. ;)

I do like the doughnuts from the bakery next to Sonic though. I don't ever buy doughnuts from Causbie's so I don't know if they're better or not!

do they still have those awesome brownies? It was a huge treat 30yrs ago for my mom to take me to Causbie's before she went to work! Still remember it like yesterday. The smell, the warm interior, the bright lights and the sun starting to come up....brings back great memories.

Causbies is the best bakery in the world if you ask me. I don't know the lady personally but she has always been very nice to me. Why do people have to be so hateful.

Hi folks, was wondering if anyone could answer a silly question for me. I was born in Kennett in the 70's and grew up enjoying Causbie's Bakery. I heard through the grapevine that they are no longer open. Over the years I have stopped in every chance that I got and stocked up on the icebox coookies that I love so much. It has been years since I have made it down(all relatives have passed on) and miss their baked goods. Everytime my mom goes down to put flowers on the graves she buys what she can and mails them to me here in Kansas City. If they are still open does anyone know if they ever started shipping items. My mother and myself have both asked them over the years and they always just laughed and said "not at this time"
Still there
