Ha ha ha! Well at least you aren't that cruel. I get annoyed by the multitude of typos. Sometimes I wonder if they proofread it at all.

What really bothers me is the obituaries. They should at leats pay special attention to the spellings in those. Some people keep those forever.

I read an obituary today(not the DDD) of a man who had 4 children and 59 grandchildren. Could be true but not likely. No one proofreads their newspapers any more. I read a lot of paperback novels, and I am appalled at the number typos that appear in these books. No one cares anymore. Not many years ago, all books looked like they had been written by English Teachers.

Nowadays, even most of the English teachers can't produce a proper essay or article.

Wow! Thank you! It is great to know that most of us cannot do our job! You do realize we go to college to learn this well enough to teach it to others? But, I'm sure you are right! You probably write the BEST essay......minus all of the spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, usage errors, etc!

DDD is not much these days they charge $50 bucks to run a obituary and a lot of times the people are allready buried before its in the paper.
