So let me get this straight, (no pun intended) Target gives generously to GLBT causes, is very GLBT friendly to their employees, gives generously to other community functions and ranks among the tops in rankings by advocacy groups. Yet because they also gave money to a candidate/group that they feel will be better for their business the professionally aggreived are boycotting. How mypoic can the GLBT community be. If people want to start this war they should be carefull what they ask for.

The CEO of any public corporation has to answer to their stockholders when decisions like this donation effect the vast majority of the public who contricbute to the bottom line of the financial statements!!! I am a stockholder so this does affect me directly. I don't mind that Target donations millions to the schools or the MN athletic teams or anything else that benefits the people. But what really angred me was the money going to ANY political party!!!! If Gregg Steinhafel wants to support Tom Emmer out of his own pocket thats just fine with me.....but not on my dime!!!!!
