A very sad story. I used to live 3 doors down from them for 40 years, but don't really know them well. What surprises me is that a co-worker cared enough to go and find out what happened to Charles. What about Charles' wife? Did she not miss him? That is really weird. Kudos to the co-worker though.

My guess would be that she had no reason to "miss him" cause she assumed he was at work. According to other news reports the co-worker called her first to see where he was and that's probably when she realized too that he wasn't at work.

How did a coworker know where the guy's mother lived??

Amazing family!! Co-worker was concerned and called the police to do a courtesy check. Nothing fishy here. Just a sad story. Please pray for the family. Martine Glasscott wrote: A very sad story.
