Review: Doctor's Vision Works

Avoid Doctor's Vision Works in Kennesaw like the plague! I ordered my glasses there on Sat., April 11th, 2009 and was told they would be ready for pick-up on Mon., April 13th. I got a call on Mon. saying their machine was broken and the glasses wouldn't be ready until the next day. I waited until Wed., April 15th to go pick them up, and when I tried the glasses on everything was a blur, both near and far vision. After much waiting I was told that they had put the wrong prescription in the glasses. I was quite upset, and asked for a discount for my inconvenience. They finally agreed to refund my $58.00 'upgrade charge'...funny thing is...I never ordered any upgrades, and had no idea that I had been charged for an upgrade in the first place! I went back again yesterday evening to try once again to pick up my glasses, and once again...couldn't see anything but a blur. This time they told me that the computer had transposed a - into a + on my prescription. Last I heard computers don't transpose anything...humans do! At any rate, I am making my third trip to Vision Works tonite after work to try again to get glasses that have the correct prescription. One other thing that I would like to mention...while I was waiting 45 minutes yesterday for these morons to sort out what had gone wrong with my glasses, a woman came in to try to pick up her new glasses and they couldn't even find her order! This is the most idiotic, unprofessional company that I've ever had the misfortune to deal with, and they barely act like they even care that they keep screwing up. DOCTOR'S VISION WORKS SUCK!!!
