Oh, please!! The rural areas are always shortchanged by NDOR while Omaha and Lincoln get whatever they want. The Nebraska portion of the Heartland Expressway has languished for years because the previous head of NDOR refused to prioritize it. By his own admission, he stated that the H.E. would never be completed as long as he was in charge. Fortunately, he is no longer in charge and Heineman says he'll be supportive (time will tell). For once people need to recognize that the state is composed of more than Douglas and Sarpy counties.
