Summit NJ is part of a diversified economy, and the highly skilled workers at Schering-Plough will find gainful employment elsewhere. Besides, even if what you say is true Schering-Plough only moved onto the former Ciba site a couple of years ago. Before that it was empty, and Summit wasn't a ghost-town then.

Not many Schering-Plough employees live in Summit. There is a far greater threat from the banking down-turn in NYC as many Summit residents work there.

You keep mentioning Bayer: I don't know if you're getting confused with the Schering AG/Bayer acquisition a few months ago. Schering AG is a different company, and not conected with Schering-Plough. I assume your Nazi comments are a racist reference to the Germans?

What are Schering's dangerous drugs? The recent clinical issues were not related to health issues, rather efficacy. There are certainly problems with resources and focus at the FDA but there is oversight for good reason. And ALL drugs have side-effects.

Please learn to spell and make a coherent case before you send post after post berating a company and scare-mongering about a town. Perhaps you are off your meds?

Mesygina (Lunelle) was developed and marketed by Pharmacia (now Pfizer) and discontinued sales in the US in 2003. Nothing to do with Schering.
