These are the same fools that would stop at the scene of an accident and mug the victims rather than give them aid.... total scum. I hope they are caught and punished.... Punishment, I guess they’ll have eternity after the judgment for that. Steeling from a church! No respect, none at all.

$77, Ha! Serves the hard-working crooks right. Hopefully they leave the safe & records somewhere to be found. But it sounds like they earned the $77.

Wow, stealing from the house of God. Hope the police catch these sick people. If they would still from God, What else would they do? or whatelse have they done. Sounds like something the KKK would do in this part of the country.

How is stealing from a church different than stealing from a grocery? Is it still material things that are stolen. They didn't steal from God. I don't understand the unnecessary over reaction jsut because it was a church. Get over it.

Baptismal records, marital records and the like are a little different than milk and eggs. They stole from a Church, which is a House Of God. If you don't see that being worse than stealing from a grocery, you are really screwed int he head.

What a moron.

Yeah, you're right...they're things which people should have copies of in their own homes, in fireproof safes, whereas groceries need to be bought continually.

These records when sold to illegals are worth far more than the 77 dollars in cach report to be in the safe.

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Oh, don't worry folks. God will get His back, and then some.

Hitler, Joey Stalin, and little Jeffy Dahmer lived by a code of ethics and not out of fear of hell too. You are in good company.

Who decides what is 'ethical' if not God? Individuals? Society? Government? All of these are flawed and therefore their ethics are flawed also. Only by trying to follow God who is perfect, can a person have anything close to true ethics and morals. If you can't see this, then yes you are a moron of the highest order. Here's an idea, try closing your wide-open eyes, open you heart and soul instead, bend your proud knees, and pray. Because if you don't you won't have to fear hell, you will just end up there.

Not necessarily. When my church was robbed the two teens that did it were from Florida and had hit several churches between there and here before they were caught. They stole quite a bit of stuff and tried to get into the safe but couldn't. I am sure they didn't know where anything was. Thank goodness we have a security system now.

Also, if they were familiar with church (insiders) as you seem to imply, they probably would have known where the real cash or other valuables were at.

"Hernandez believes more than one person was involved because the heavy 26-inch-high safes were bolted to the floor."

One crook to hold the bolt, two to turn the safe.

If more dead bodies were found clutching their loot, there would be less of this.
