I can't speak for the poster you quoted, but my beef is with people who don't contribute one thin dime and get their entire living off the labor of others. We've developed about two generations, since LBJ's precipitous increase in the government dole of people who live entirely off what the government takes from producers and gives to them.

There are at least three generations of people who are lazy, and shiftless, and live off the charity of others. President Clinton tried to make them get jobs, but they found a way around that, and mostly lived off their crimes. Now Obama made it possible for them to lay about doing nothing, but killing one another.

The real problem with the current president is that he is not qualified for the job, this can be seen by his not realizing the future problems of his overuse of the Government Credit Card (Read that the record paced printing of unbacked dollar bills). He, like many tax and spend democrats, feels that the only solution to problems is the throwing of money at them and then producing multiple layers of government regulation by means of czars and Govermental agencies who will attempt to run things they have no real idea of how to run. Yes, the low to moderately low income people will love him at first because they can only see the intent of his misguided actions and not the long term problems that inflation and increased taxes will bring. A man without a car can not fully appreciate the fact that larger gas taxes will impact everything he will wish to purchase because of the energy (read that oil based expense) that will be needed to produce and transport it. I do not care if you are far right, very left wing or in the middle, fact is that your grandchildren's grandchildren will be paying for this unbridled spending spree of this well meaning little boy with very little real world experience.
Yes, I voted for Obama with more than a few reservations because McCain never got a message across and because of a prospect of perhaps Obama being younger with more vitality to attack the problems.
What I got was all of the fears I had about Obama and none of the effective results I thought he might have had. I voted this past Nov. 3rd for Bob McDonald because of the close ties Deeds has with Obama and his policy and if the Republicans can produce any type of opponent for Obama, I will not make the mistake I made in 2008.

Interesting about you voting for Obama. No worries, last election McCain took Prince George. So if you do not vote for President Obama next time around it will not matter.

Live in the present. Stop making excuses for the Obamanation by using the mistakes of the past president. Is Obama's goal to be worse than Bush. He is succeeding. I want a president that is better than both Bush and Obama. Even our Tennessee governor says that Tennessee can't afford the current health care plan and he is a good democrat.

Little man, you might be right, however, governors races and elections results in Virginia and New Jersey would seem to be somewhat in agreement with me. National polls show that independents and moderates of both parties have serious issues with Obama and the direction he is taking this country. I know you will bring up New York, SO, allow me to address that point. The republican party made a debacle of that election and no Rebublican was shown as running, only a conservative. Your very high opinion of yourself and your opinions should require a change in screen name, perhaps "JOE BLOW"?

Little little little little man, little man...LOL I was not going to bring up anything about New York, why would I? You live in Virgina. You claimed that you voted for Obama and that you will not do it again. All I said was a fact, your home county voted for McCain. It is a Red county and would not have gone for Obama anyways. It appears to me that you have issues with facts and figures. You know something, I have noticed that most birthers have that same problem. If they are given facts and figures that they can not dispute. They go off and call you names. You see, when a person starts his or her post with attempted insults that just proves the other person was correct. So by you insulting me when all I did was just point out a fact. That just means I was correct. But, I do I wonder why you took such great insult with my post? Hm why would you react like this. You almost seem as if you were caught in a fib the way you lashed out. I hope you were not fibbing. Because to fib just to make a point is really a sad statement of your state of mind. Now, you can either come back at me one of two ways. One way will defuse anyones thought that your are fibbing. While the other will confirm that you said a large porky... I wonder which path you will take?LOL

The fact that you can give no real answer without agreeing, so you refuse actual comment is somewhat sad. I brought up New York and called it a Republican Debacle, now who is the honest person with courage to admit to the truth? I want a president that is better than both Bush and Obama. Even our Tennessee governor says that Tennessee can't afford the current health care plan and he is a good democrat. I think his performance has been good as a governor also. There is the fact that he built his millions in wealth from the payments of these insurance industry giants through his health care businesses. So it would be a given he would favor the insurance industry over the uninsurables who are losing everything they have. The people who are hurting because they have been dropped from coverage is the issue I wish people could see. If we keep going at the same pace with the rise of insurance premiums and the number of people who will not be able to afford or get coverage we will suffer more than if we had a good health insurance system. The health care industry's grip on our government is unethical and troublesome to say the least. If we do not get some changes made with the corruption we will be in big trouble. It is not right when our leaders work so hard for a bill to benefit industry who is paying them and their families millions of dollars that come from hard working Americans. The favorable tax treatment and anti trust protection is a payback that comes right out of our pockets. We need reform, public option or not. We cannot let this go on.
