I am a resident of Kemah and I don't think I have ever seen such devastation. I drove over the Kemah bridge yesterday at 4:00 p.m. and it was very, very, sad. My husband and I love the boardwalk. My family visits from Chicago quite often and they were also very devastated by the destruction. We were fortunate to have lost a bunch of shingles, but, that is very minor compared to what other people had to face. My heart goes out to ALL who lost a great deal during this ravaged hurricane. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
