So if someone sneaks into your house and refuses to leave, but is willing to mow the yard and do odd jobs around the house, you wouldn't call the cops and have him thrown out? That's the way you should feel about illegal aliens in the USA.

Additionally, why would I call the cops if he's doing chores? Man, are you stupid? A guy comes to your house to do this that you didn't even ask for and you're going to have him removed?!!

We pay good money for that here. Screw you, I'LL take him. I'll help him learn English, become a naturalized citizen and smack the chit out of him for picking "the USA" where people flock to hire him, pay him like chit and resent him for putting his family first, because family values in "the USA" is held at such high moral standards.

Oh man, you're so stupid you gave me an ulcer. haha.

Oops

Are you really from Stamford. CT? If you are you probably dont have the "illegal" problem. I live in a town full of them. They take jobs and all the money goes to Mexico because of "family values". The government takes care of them like they were born here. I hear families talking here who have lost their homes to Ike and "illegals" who live here are getting consideration from FEMA before our own citizens. I was born here and I need to follow and obey the law so why dont they? I don't get consideration because I dont have babies to support but an "illegal" will that has a family of babies. I pay taxes, they dont. They have a country. They need to use their own system not come over here and abuse ours.

By the way, how do you define "illegal"? In my dictionary it's something or someone acting AGAINST the law RE: Illegal Immigrant. Lock them up or send them back! Make it real!

Right on, brother. NOW you're talkin. Well, at least I agree with you partially because you put some thought into it and aren't just being ignorant like I see here all the time. I see anything REMOTELY close to "Latino" in the title and I cringe with what nonsense I might read.

If someone is doing something wrong - anyone - lock them up. It's a seemingly simple solution near the borders because the guys you all are pissed about are Mexicans. What about the other people that suck. Like the non-Mexicans abusing the same systems? They're potentially worse because they were possibly born here in the "Good 'ol U.S. of A.", so we don't know what country to ship them off to. So, let's pick on the Mexicans. The guys that work their butts off, albeit, getting carried away at times and someone ends up hurt or dead. That's uncool when stuff like that happens.

Ever get a raise when you thought it was a mistake but you shut up and wondered how long it would last?

It was a whole new world, huh?

I'm against abuses of virtually every sort (haha).

Illegal? We've got to be more flexible with the Mexicans and we HAVE been. It appears to have been a been a good gamble from what I see. Bad stuff happens sometimes but you can't just get rid of it because bad things will happen again.

People get hit by cars everyday. I don't want to get rid of my car - we should be vigilant with our vehicles.

So leave us Mexicans alone. We're so cute and brown. And we make you look even taller by comparison.

I am a American as I was born here. I am also causacion whatever the hell that means. I have a friend that is Mexican (was born in Mexico, as where his parents) he is legal and has been for around 47 yrs. He cant stand Mexicans that dont call themselves Mexican. I have mostly french ancestors and dont call myself French. That is the same as a 4th generation Mexican calling themselves Spanish.
The border problem and illegal immigration: Do you folks really believe that the U.S. cant control illegal immigration????? There have been many border patrols (with their face blacked out) told to let them pass on shows like 20/20. When Our economy gets bad and they are not needed anymore as North Americans will then take those jobs (like share croppers in the 30's) then illegals become an issue. Plus the gov. never gave thought to how many children would be produced making their parents then legal. Our Gov. did this......if I was Mexican and could not get a job their as most of the people who gripe, they would "sneek" over here too. The people I have also seen gripping about them I have seen hire them too. I live in a small town. Our gov. wants them here for now or they would not be here. If anyone saw the show on the history channel, the gov. made marijuana illegal, so as to accuse the Mexicans of trading in it and to send them back. The first generation of legal or not immigrants from anywhere are very hard working with family values, they.... like depression raised Americans dont want their children to have to work as they do/did, so the second and third generations is what cause most of the problems of living off the system, filling our prisons, etc.

I'm actually not "pissed" at the Mexicans. They do what they have to do and the government lets it slide. It's a waste of time to be pissed. Local, county and state police have no power over illegals. The only power is Immigration. So, it is what it is. It's kinda like "get out of my back yard." I paid for what I own HERE with a lot of hard work and taxes. I don't like just handing it over with a smile. They get welfare and food stamps and community services, low rent and medical and don't pay taxes. That so sucks. Hey, how about that contractor who hires them needs to pay 35% of their pay to the government for a tax called "illegall Immigrant hiring tax"?! That might cover their expenses for being here illegally! So, if I pay them $100 a day I need to send $35 a day to Uncle Sam for their upkeep. What a concept, being responsible for your actions!

That doesn't include what we pay to educate their children, known as "anchor children", those we also paid to be born in our hospitals with our high medical cost and tax dollars !
