A good thing would be the compassion centers owners sue the board of supervisors.
The micro management of their businesses by the B.O.S. far exceeds the scrutiny given other providers of legal substances. Are the providers of cigars, cigarettes, chaw, alcohol (both hard and soft) or even "heath food stores" subjected to such oversight and regulations? I doubt it. Again they go after the easy targets. It is simple to use our tax dollars to bust "medical cannabis" providers dispensing a legal, Dr. recommended product. It is more difficult to bust the providers of truly dangerous illegal products such as heroin, crack, speed etc. An open storefront operation is easier prey than a den of crack heads and meth cookers. Regulate, don't segregate. However if the dispensaries are suspected/proven to be conducting illegal activities bust their asses as you would sellers of booze&tobacco. The individual taxpayer pays personal, city, county, state and federal taxes etc. at every purchase. The straw-man arguments of the feds control the way states, counties do their businesses is crap. Without taxpayer support there would be no federal gvt. I think equality under the law is needed. What I have heard for 50+ years from the police and others is if you have a law you disagree with don't break it, change it IN THE VOTING BOOTH.. OK the people of this state legalized medicinal marijuana, now it the law. Follow the law as written and if you do not like it CHANGE IT IN THE VOTING BOOTH. peace all |

Yet another racist exposes them-self. You might want to change your moniker as you have discredited your self as an ignoramus bigot. As your credibility is suspect, your pose is impotent. |

And what does that make you? |

oopzz - don't think p h's post is racist, it (I believe) is in reference to another posting perhaps on this thread or on another cannabis thread wherein that person wrote of Caddy Escalades and folks from Oakland. I think p h was just flinging a zinger.

I worked with Ken Estes for a few years and Know for a fact that he has the desire to be the biggest dealer in the state yet he is truly an advocate for cannabis, I miss those crazy ass drives in the middle of tim-buck-humboldt ion the middle of nowhere. He sought bthe best and found it and no doubt became the all time marketer of grandaddy (which originated in humboldt} and I will not give any more details,I KNOW!!Read my case I won my appeal. Tim Giangiobbe OCBC......Ken was my expert witness.I will always love him..not Jason....

Ken Estes will only bring the best medicine to Lake county and find the best within the county he has the knack folks and is truly a good father and person. I worked with him a few years ago and had to go like everyone eventually did yet I miss it. He faced the feds down before OBAMA and they just took the product without charging.WHY? They are afraid to take him to jury trial they would lose.He was my expert in court. I won my appeal...GOOGLE: Tim Giangiobbe OCBC.....We old timers paved the way respect us plese...happy pothead holiday

I met some one a few years back at a party at Tony Serra's office. His name was Patrick Humpherey and he truly did have a progressive way of thinking about dispensaries and co-ops. He had started laugh way house, at first to take care of his brother jack then for everyone. If he did not succomb to cancer he would have expanded to the city with my assistance and Drew.GOOGLE search this: Patrick Humpherey laugh way house,,,,, I can not read the interview without getting emotional and dreaming big,and seeing hundreds of laugh way houses instead of prisons..Please also google this: Tim Giangiobbe OCBC....And see that I to payed a price but won my state appeal from the conviction because I am not a criminal I am a pothead. Uncle Sammy and his state cronies spend a bundle prosecuting potheads and ruining lives.....Check out Drugsense.org the drug clock...The up to the second accounting of the waste.

That is right. The amazing thing is Rogue DAs do what they want,in conservative counties they ignore the stste law still.Even after the law is passed the stigma remains..I paid a price until the stste appeals court came through...READ my case GOOGLE THIS: TimGiangiobbe OCBC....I never had problems with the law in my life. I am not aa criminal yet Solano county thought I was.Judg Villareal was a trip. He had 9medical cannabis convictions overturned.I started the ball rolling..He hated me and I lost all respect for him.He is retired now GOOD RIDDANCE.. |
