I hate that someone had to loose their life, but i must say it was bound to happen. A few months prior to this accident, this man hit my mom, sister-in-law and nieces head on. The accident almost everyone hurt! This man was an illegal alien, he had no visa and was released from jail with not so much as a slap on the wrist. We are all just lucky he was the only one involved in this accident! Karma~it always has a way of comming back.

Are you saying you are relieved this man died?

I think they said "it was bound to happen" Not that they were "relieved this man died" He nearly killed 4 or 5 others very recently, was drunk at the time. This time when he wrecked, drunk again, he didn't injure (or kill) anyone only himself. As relieved citizen said we are all lucky that he was the only one not that they were relieved that he died. Amen

I really don't think someone losing their life is lucky. I understand he was drunk, but he is still a human being. I wonder if this were your child driving drunk that killed himself, if you would still consider it lucky. I'm sure it is different because he is an illegal alien, with no visa. Because all of us know what it is like to live in a country that pays their employees a $1.00/hour. Where you watch your families being shot in front of your eyes, by the people that are suppose to protect you. Where your sisters and daughters are raped on their way home from their twelve hour day, so we can all watch our plasma televisions.

Sorry I didnt mean that it was lucky that he lost his life..... lucky that more ppl werent injured as they were when he had a wreck a couple of months back.
The fact that he is an illegal is irrelevant to me. And is not a part of this as far as I am concerned. It was raised by the original poster and may be relevant to them, its not to me. The sad thing to me is that he lost his life. I wish that he hadnt had a drinking problem, had not driven drunk and had not wrecked. I am relieved that no one else was injured. As for the rest of your post re illegals. Yes its a concern isnt it.

I understand, it really bothers me when people talk about the illegal aliens as if they should not be here. The same peope that talk the trash, never think twice about going to walmart buying the goods that they are sending from over there. Americans should stop supporting slave labor. These companies would stop sending jobs over there, if we quit buying from them. It is so sad to me that people do not understand why Mexicans come over here.

To the original post, none of the those people had a seatbelt on that night. I wonder if you would like someone to say that was karma.

Those in the vehicle he hit were restrained...the youngest child was in a car seat, the other two children had seatbelts on, the driver had a seatbelt on, don't know for a FACT about the front seat passenger in that vehicle so I won't say she did (although I am almost positive she had one on)....the male driver that was intoxicated and crossed the center line was NOT wearing a seatbelt. So Brach whomever you got your information from....it was wrong.

Of course it was, I should have known that. Thank goodness a human being lost his life. I bet he learned his lesson about drinking and driving now.

Wasn't condoning the loss of a life I think it's tragic that it had to come to this....someone should have stepped in before this happened and tried to get him some help. I was just simply correcting your information on the seatbelt issue. I personally think that it ought to be a requirement of SOME kind to do some type of class that shows what happens when you drink and drive...show some crash scene photos scare the hell out of ppl WHATEVER it takes to educate about the dangers of drinking and driving.

It's amazing to me how someone can take and twist things that are said...the fact of what was said is that THANK GOD NO ONE ELSE GOT HURT! You know, it would be different if(God forbid) it had been YOUR family that had gotten in that wreck with someone drunk! Then you would have been saying the same thing! Think how you would feel if it were YOUR family BEFORE you go talking trash about someone else!
