More electricity usage coupled with higher sewer and water rates inside the town equals very high utility bills which equals a hard time for those on fixed incomes. Mayor Audrish's campaign promise to address high utility rates has resulted in WE PAY MORE!

From experience I've learned not to believe campaign promises
but when B.R. stated, "As your mayor I will address the following issues: HIGH UTILITY RATES.... I sure didn't think he meant addressing high rates with Higher RATES .

Certainly! The mayor's promise to address utility rates was a campaign promise; does anyone campaign on a promise to raise rates?

And since we know we have extra high electric rates that has been used to fund all departments in the city . When he said he wanted each department to be self supporting and fees were raised on sewer and water to make that self supporting. We definitely should have our electric rates lowered.

Also the salaries of the city council and the mayor should be lowered.
Only one thing we can do-vote them out next election.
