Despite all the negatve publicity and the distraction of the proposed alliance with Nissan/Renault the restructuring seems to be on track for a successful revival of GM. This bodes well for GM's current management team. The game plan is providing a much needed new product offensive. Mr. Wagoner and Mr. Lutz can focus energy on overcoming the competitors, instead of responding to Mr. K and Mr. York's demands. Good luck General and Happy New Year, full speed ahead.
