I've got a spice cake in the oven and some chicken breast thawing out, gonna fix homemade chicken pot pie and some chicken and rice for the boys, I love the homemade chicken pot pie, it's so creamy.

I usually have ALL my Christmas shopping done way before Thanksgiving. I bought my 1st Christmas gift Saturday! MY 1ST!! After the game Saturday, we stopped at the factory outlet shopping center in Batesville, MS. The Vanity Fair store there is great if you're looking for clothes as gifts. I think the holidays has sneaked up on us. So, Daisy maybe things will continue to pick up for you. Because now Thanksgiving is on top of us! LOL

I love the VANITY Fair store. We also shop at the one in Union City,Tn. The one right outside Henderson, Ky in Hanson... It has a Craftsman Tool Outlet. Needless, to say, I get shop alone .:) I haven't purchased not ONE gift yet.

When my husband starts a power tool I cringe! I know something bad is about to happen God love him! LOL I try really, really hard not to say anything negative to him about this. But I am telling you the man is "fix it" challenged! Not long ago I was laying down for a nap. About an hour into the nap I heard the power tool screw driver thing. I sat straight up in the bed with the head lighted deer eyes! I knew it was going to be bad! I didn't know what to do. If I rush in there, he'll know I'm concerned. If I stay in bed, I may not have a house. So I waited anout 30 min and acted like I just got up. Well, sure enough he had screwed it up! LOL He was trying to hang a curtain over the french door. I had been waiting for my brother-in-law to come over & do it. Anyway, he had drilled the holes alright, but not in the door. HE DRILLED THE HOLES ABOVE THE DOOR!! IN THE WALL ABOVE THE DOOR!! I couldn't help myself I just flopped on the sofa laughing!! He said you know, I thought it didn't look totally right! LOL I got the putty out & started patching the sheet rock. I have gotten real good at patching sheet rock. My husband is very smart in his field, but he has no clue about regular "fit it" stuff.

Haha.. I know the feeling. Thanks for that share. I no longer feel alone about this stuff. Wonder if there is a support group ? Guess, we could start one. David's biggest fall back on projects are not finishing or getting in a hurry. Awe... I shouldn't pick to hard, he does try..:)

Actually, my hubby is a great fix it man....I haven't seen anything he hasn't been able to fix. It's just getting him started. I have to let him think it's his idea and then he's johnny on the spot...if I mention I want something done, he'll do anything but that...
He has a tool for everything and some are still brand new. Sees something and thinks he can't live without it and most of it is still in the box....UGH!

Morning everyone, what an awful ballgame last night, yuck. It was almost painful to watch. It's suppose to be a yucky weather day, yall stay warm and dry if you can :)

I found a better recipe for yeast rolls than the one I posted last week, my rolls were wonderful yesterday.

Girl....you are my hero! I don't think I've ever made homemade rolls....I buy frozen ones! I am gonna have to start my holiday cooking soon. We're having a SilverSneaker potluck Thursday and I'm gonna take crock pot dressing and pumpkin cheesecake pie. That means I have to go to the store today....UGH!

Where the heck is everyone today? I bet everyone is stayin in and stayin ward! It's chilly outside and kind of gloomy. I have to go to Wally World and I'm not looking forward to it...I also have to go to the mall in a bit and I'm def not looking forward to that..Can you tell I HATE to shop? Think I'll get all my Christmas gifts online this year!
