Here's to new starts. Let's not worry so much about spelling and grammer, most of the time we know what we mean and so does everyone else, let's lighten up and enjoy our visits that are worth sharing :) I hope everyone is doing great this morning. Everyone slept good last night here at my house which is a wonderful thing.- lol. It is a beautiful Sunday morning and we just had biscuits, gravy, bacon, and eggs and all is right with the world, "help me" keep it this way, use whatever name you prefer that's up to you, you know who you are :) I hope everyone gets to enjoy the day in whatever fashion they want, they sure go by fast and it was nice and cool when I went out earlier and got a couple of papers. You know I will be grilling something at my house today, just haven't decided what, maybe a couple of things. That's usually how we like to do it, love leftovers/cooking ahead on the grill :) Later.

Well, it's great to be on a new site. My breakfast does not compare to yours....I had coffee and my usual blueberry breakfast bar. It is a beautiful morning and I am about to get ready for church. I love this weather and can't wait to get out in it today and plant some more shrubs and maybe get in a run.

I got up at 5 this morning, should have come to your house for breakfast or at least coffee. I am not a morning person so I normally don't do breakfast. If I go camping that is a different story. I love to get up in the woods and cook breakfast. We normally don't eat until 8am due to cooking eggs, fried potatoes, sausage, bacon, fresh garden tomatoes. I love me some camping breakfast.

You can come camping at my house, it's just like being in the woods except for the mosquito's :) Good to hear from you and see you and your family up and about on this great day :) If I go camping it has to be hotel or cabin, gotta have hot water, cold air and room...lol not a good camper any more not to say that I wouldn't.

There's nothing wrong with your breakfast either darlin, good for us most of the time, especially in tight time frames :) I usually like a later breakfast myself, around 10ish. I guess I'm a brunch person myself and then supper and I'm good :) Have a great day.

I'm the same way..although occassionally I'll fix biscuits and chocolate gravy on a Sat. morning, but I do love a camping breakfast. Something about cooking outside and the smell of bacon and sausage in the air....Isn't it about camping season?

My grandma on the Warhurst side used to make it for me before school and then Mama made some too. I haven't had it in a long time. Don't remember how to make it. On the submarine they wouldn't let us just go in and cook so alot of the things I knew before I joined just kinda went away.

Something about cooking outside and the smell of bacon and sausage in the air....Isn't it about camping season? We go camping up at Lake Lure/Chimney Rock/Pisgah area in NC. It is in the mountains so fall and spring are the best time to go. We gave up tent camping in 95 and bought a popup. It used to be everytime I drove a stake in the ground I would hit water because it would start raining.

Camping Story. We went camping up at Bat cave NC (outside Lake Lure). Tyler (a friend of our) kept on sneaking out at night, hiding, and scaring my wife when she would be coming back from the bathhouse. On the last night, my wife hid in the trunk of their car and Tanya told Tyler that she forgot something in the trunk. Tyler was in a hurry to go get it so that he could scare Shila because he thought that she was in the bathhouse. When he popped the trunk, Shila jumped and screamed at the top of her lungs (it was pretty dark outside). He ran about 15 yards before he even started yelling. We were looking out of the window of the camper, laughing our butt off. Tyler said all that he could think about was Jason off of Friday the 13th coming after him. To this day, he still won’t try to scare my wife.

"someone they think is me" Rhonda I'm gonna tell you this one time, this is the only thread I've started in while, I haven't even been on the computer much less started a thread about someone I don't even know exist so please get over me, I don't care who you are, what you are doing, what you want to do, what you have done or anything else, but you sure can't let go of me can you, you seem to have the problem not me. We all have email and facebook to correspond when we want so what is seen on here is only a very small portion of our thoughts, actions or feelings, you are assuming way to much and that's when it shows. It's a shame you can't be happy, good luck cause you are the only one I've seen that needs it.

I never was a fan of chocolate gravy, I like the good ole white gravy on my breakfast. Now I'm not saying I won't eat it, lol, don't misunderstand.. Well, I've got brownies in the oven and sounds like a lost aunt on her way over to see dad so I better scaddle for now, keep on talking the good talk, later.......

I have onion breath from the cucumber salad and I'm not complaining...lol

Ok with lunch out of the way supper is already being talked about in my house, pork steak and spare ribs are the talk of the house so that's the winner for supper. I'm gonna make my father some of his favorite homemade german potato salad and might as well go with baked beans, any varities anyone can think of would be mucho appreciated :) I've got fresh tomato's to slice along with a bag of fresh okra but don't think we will be having okra today, a little to greasy for me with all the pork. I might cook some fresh pea's though and will put okra in it, yummy.

I like the white gravy also with biscuits and something my grandma taught me....it is great with fresh cantaloupe.....yummo...try it sometime. Put some milk gravy on your biscuits and your cantaloupe..it's much better than it sounds!
