Meeting on Washington County school bus stops draws little publ...

Parents in Washington County could be surprised by changes affecting their children's transportation to and from school.

The change is unreasonable and a pathetic attempt to make the educators job easier and lessen there work load. Its not that hard to make changes to a drop off point. Parents have been to doing it for years with out any problems and chances are when this gets around to everyone there are going to be some serious pissed people. I really dont think this change will last and shame on our local school system for being a bunch of lazy heathens.

the reason for the change was not to lighten loads. It was for continuity for the childern, and so that kids were not getting in to trouble by switching busses and going somewhere else that they know their parents did not say they could be. This kind of change could save a childs life. If a child is left to decide which bus they want to get on and go somewhere else that child might not even know where they are going and could be abducted. So think about that.

actually the change was made because some children were left on the wrong stops with no adults around and the drivers wouldn't even call anyone to be sure the kids were safe that's why!!!!!!!!!!
