All insurance is a rip off. Its like payin' some one to pay your bills for you. But, granted we must carry auto liability. No choice, unless you are wealthy.

I was a loyal customer for 2 decades. I had a water leak in my kitchen that ruined the floors in 4 rooms plus my cabinets and quite a bit of furniture.
Thats when I found out they dont offer mold coverage and they tried to shove servpro down my throat. That company has a history of not doing a good job not to mention the fact that most of their workers come from the job shop.
If I wanted a bunch of drugheads from the jobshop working on my house I would go to the jobshop and hire them. I put this same post on here but I guess somebody didnt want anyone to see it cause it got deleted
no thanks

I had been with my current insurance for 13 years, got a card from state farm locally to compare rates. Have a clean record, no accidents, did have one speeding ticket but went to traffic school and it did not show up on my current insurance or any other insurance inquiries BUT state farm somehow found it and when I compared their offered rate, it was double my current cost.

Stray Dog in Kentucky insurance companies are allowed to rape the customers thanks to people like mitch mcconnell and hal rogers.
When the crooks are taken out of the picture we mite actually be able to get decent rates in ky.
Between all the taxes and required insurance costs it takes a fairly large income to be able to pay the bills here in ky.
We have a large part of the population in ky living on fixed incomes that barely meet the lower end of the poverty level. The laws in effect here means a lot of those people have no choice but to break the law by not being able to afford insurance. There is nothihng right or good about it except for the fact that the people that own the insurance companies are getting richer while the poor are not able to buy food for their family. I think a big thank you to the politicians that allowed this to happen is in order. Maybe they would be happy if we all worked hard all week then hand over our paychecks to them. They seem to be working very hard to make that happen

Well, I just don't know about KY insurance rates. You may be exactly right. But I do believe all insurance companies live very high on the hog and all of them rip off poor folks. I carry just enough auto liability to satisfy the law. Never finance a car conventionally and therefore never carry comprehensive insurance. Way too costly.
