<quoted text>If you want something drug and crime free you better double your monthly range. There are no apartments without trouble for less than $500 a month. Its simple economics: most of the people who are poor enough to have to sale drugs and commit crimes probably cannot afford the higher end places for rent; thus apartments with higher monthly costs generally eradicate most of those people as neighbors. Anything in the $300 range, like Vally-View or Spider Creek, is just filled with trouble.
When it comes to apartments, you definitely get what you pay for!
This is true.. Anywhere from $500 to $1250 for the good apt.s but at that price its same as buying a home. My mortgage is $508. So it the matter of having credit and job history for a loan. Any way. If you are looking to rent in that high budget try lookin into rent houses or mobile homes since there running about that same price. There's also rent to own. seems like apts has went up in the last 3 or so years and houses and trailors stayed the same.

<quoted text>. Apparently your not as smart as you think!!! First of all I live in an extremely nice Duplex in Corbin. They are on Falls Hwy. but there's only four and nothing available right now. We pay 500.00 for a 2 bedroom 11/2 baths. It has huge rooms with plenty of closets. Frig, stove and dish washer is included with a washer/dryer hookup. Deck on back with individual storage room attached to the deck. Garbage included in rent. We have Geo thermal heating and my electric bill is $47.38 we will have a gas bill which us needed for the heat and water heater but I have not received it yet. So yes there are nice places in Corbin. Second of all please tell all of us the name of a town that don't have drugs. The trick is pay attention to everyone and everything around you and don't associate with just anyone. It's busy bodies like Uhhh that think they know it all that likes to talk shit and thinks he knows everything about everything!!! That's not the case with any human that I know including myself!!!
Bluebird...where are the duplexes on the Falls rd? Sounds like a place I need if any are available.

I've just recently moved in here with my kids and can tell you how good it is. My parents lived here like 15-17 years ago and were scared for me to move in. It is nothing like that now! There is a security guard on duty every night, office staff live on the property, and every so often I see cops just driving thru during the day or night. The playground is nice for my kids to. I can do my laundry and watch them play.
