Got a question for the morons who hate the rich

You, who hate the rich so much, but work, were does your job come from? It sure doesn't come from the poor. A rich man is the person who hires your sorry butt. and I know some will say, what about these big corporations and companies? Well, a rich man started them or they would be here. Your Walmarts, and ALL your industries came from one rich's man's vision. Sounds to me like you bite the hand that feeds you!
I think we should have "Thank a RICH man day" here in America. Without them, our infrastructure and economy would really be non-existant. The government sure didn't do this, for it ids from gthe rich man's taxes being paid that the government has money to do what it needs to do.
Some of you needs to take a basic economics course in school before spewing your ignorance and showing your lack of intelligence.

Are you kidding me? You are in desperate need of an economics course yourself! Actually you make me kind of nauseous. "Thank a rich man day" GMAFB!! The rich man gets "thanked" every time you buy his over priced goods! What we really need is Thank a customer day.
This is how it really works!:
What creates the jobs, is a healthy economic ecosystem surrounding the company, which starts with the company's customers.
The company's customers buy the company's products, which, in turn, creates the need for the employees to produce, sell, and service those products. If those customers go broke, the demand for the company's products will collapse. And the jobs will disappear, regardless of what the entrepreneur does.
Now, of course entrepreneurs are an important part of the company-creation process. And so are investors, who risk capital in the hope of earning returns. But, ultimately, whether a new company continues growing and creates self-sustaining jobs is a function of customers' ability and willingness to pay for the company's products, not the entrepreneur or the investor capital. Suggesting that "rich entrepreneurs and investors" create the jobs, therefore, Hanauer observes, is like suggesting that squirrels create evolution.
(Or, to put it even more simply, it's like saying that a seed creates a tree. The seed does not create the tree. The seed starts the tree. But what creates the tree is the combination of the DNA in the seed and the soil, sunshine, water, atmosphere, nutrients, and other factors that nurture it. Plant the seed in an inhospitable environment, and it won't create anything. It will die.)

You are absolutely right here. Truth is, the great mass of people who buy consumer goods are getting a lot poorer while the richest 1 percent is getting a lot richer.

The solution to this problem is to reimpose the steeply progressive tax rates that were in place during the Eisenhower administration in the 1950s. Rates on the rich were a LOT higher than now, and prevented the accumulation of wealth in a few hands by taxing it away and spending it on things like building new infrastructure, education, and subsidizing the development of new technology.

Where does my job come from? Myself.
The railroads came from one rich man's vision also...one who acquired it through driving Indians off their rightful lands. Rich people have all kinds of visions. I just don't approve of alot of them...at least how some have acquired the funds to have visions with.
Visions of some decades of the past are not the same as 20th century. At one point and time in our lifetime, there were some good capitalists. It's a dying art today, exchanged for greed.
Alot of big business initiate themselves via government loans. Just ask Romney how many government loans he took in his career so he could use the interest as a write off to reflect false bottom lines so he could feed dividends back into his pocket.
Your little elementary question houses alot of various answers.
The rich man sure had rather pay the government, making it big government, during the GWB administration because it's cheaper for them to pay the tax vs hiring workers. Are you that dumb? GWB and the fat cats had somethin' goin' fer 'em there.

You, my friend, are precisely correct. These right wing morons don't know what tax is. It definitely was higher then and was under other administrations prior to Obama. Factually, Reagan's capital gain tax rate was higher than Obama's. These people have no sense for detail whatsoever. They in fact, don't even know what's going on. All they know is, our President is partially black and he ain't pickin' their cotton. As for me, they can pick their own lice out of their rears.

This thing is long (23 pages) and dense, but the top tax rate graph on page 3 is simple:
If low taxes on the rich was the way to a prosperous economy ours should be booming.
When did our economy function so that it brought the highest standard of living to the greatest number of people? Answer: In the years 1945 to 1985, when taxes on the rich were much higher and wealth was much more evenly distributed.

Hobart I dont hate the rich. I just wish some of the people we have running our country would pull their heads out of their ass and make the greedy bastards pay their fair share of taxes.
Dont tell us that you believe they already do cause we all know that would be a lie dont we hobart.
#11 May 13, 2013
a rich man can be a good neighbor if he wants to.
he can be nice, kind and helpful if he sees someone in need.
some dont want to waste money by giving it to some alcoholic, or druggie who will waste and feed his evil habits; while his children sit at home doing without things they need.
and these are usually the kind of bums who gives a rich man a bad name.
if richie rich dont feed destructive habits we will get on topix and run him down to the dogs.

that still wont whitewash all the lies he has told and all the times he has bowed to the muslims against his own. the bible says charity begins at home. obama and his administration are bent on destroying america all the way. obamalies.com or obamalies.net and he still may not get out of his benghazi capers. latest: http://video.msnbc.msn.com/the-daily-rundown/...

Thank you. I'm totally aware of course of the tables/rates.
You are so right. We definitely, given the red carpet they had for 12 years, should be booming. I can't believe that some of these people on here, some not having a pot to pis- in, can support such moral evils. Actually, even the govt. is handing contracts to private sector that in turn, are paying minimum wages. All this does is force more dependency upon our govt., which in turn, makes it harder on middle class folk. The gap didn't get there on it's own.
Tax does need to increase on the wealthy, workers need to be paid a decent living wage, and subsequently, alot of social programs could be eliminated. The money would cycle back into the economy and it's people, vs the wealthy and government. Paying a lower percentage of tax and more revenue to the govt. only centralizes that money. It then forces the govt. to selectively pass it to the people. This is NOT the right way.

That is a good statemente. Problem is, the wealthy seldom give it from the heart. They give it for a tax deduction. Yes, it is there for the taking, but that's man's law and not God's. It suppose to be given from the heart, or, it's worthless and won't be counted. It's worth more to God if a poor person gives 25 cents than it is for a millionaire to give $1M for a deduction. Contributions don't always have to = money either. There are so many that are willing to help someone, yet don't have monetary means. That's o.k. Just the support and physical help means everything to God.

Quite a few intelligent responses to Hobert. Glad to see it.
It isn't that we hate the rich man. After all, in many cases, as Hmmm pointed out, it is the entrepreneur who creates jobs, either with his own money, or, with borrowed money. He takes the risk, he is responsible for paying the nut at the bank.
Hobert makes a huge mistake in his claim of the rich man creating jobs. Rush Limbaugh did the same thing, years ago, when he said that same rich talking point.
You see, the well to do, or, moderately wealthy person, who establishes a business does create jobs. No one has a problem with them, nor, are they the "rich man" that we deplore. When I talk hatefully of the "rich", it is the Wall Street Banker who created convoluted banking schemes that robbed us of our homes, and then forced us to pay them when their schemes negatively impacted those banks, and their "investors", or, more accurately, their co-conspirators in the housing bubble scheme.
Jamie Dimon, CEO at JP Morgan, hasn't created a job. Neither has Lloyd Craig Blankfein, at Goldman Sachs. They have created misery, and are largely responsible, along with many in their secret cabals, like the Bilderbergs, for the off shoring of our jobs from America.
Carl Ichan, a Jewish corporate thief, the person responsible for the destruction of TWA, one of America's premier airlines, hasn't created a job.
Hedge fund managers, who contrive some of these banking schemes, or, execute them like CREDIT DEFAULT SWAPS, Derivatives, and MARK TO MARKET, haven't created a damn job.
Henry Kissinger, hasn't created a job.
THESE are the rich that we are talking about. THESE are the rich that we justly hate. These are the rich that often don't pay a dime, or, little more than a dime in taxes, because of their bought off congress that provided them with loopholes to hide their money, put it into foundations, and in off shore bank accounts. THESE are the rich that we hate. We hate GE, because it pays ZERO in taxes.
We hate that Jew turd, Lloyd Blankfein at Goldman Sachs, because he and his kind got us to pick up the tab, well over a TRILLION DOLLARS, in the Wall Street Bailout, but he goes on TV and criticizes Social Security, a plan that we paid into all of our lives, and one that the government raided to GIVE BILLIONS TO ISRAEL as FREE MONEY, and to fight wars against people who never did a damn thing to us.
When the moderately rich, the well to do, hear us talk about "the rich", they ASSUME that we are talking about them. We are not. The moderately rich IDENTIFY with the Ultra Rich, but they are no where in their class, nor, do the Ultra Rich consider them more than useful idiots, whose cries about the people hating the rich, only work to defend the Ultra Rich, so they accept them as "pals", in the cause of their defense, but they disdain them, in reality.
You can start a company, but if you have no customers, others working at your company, or, employed elsewhere making a LIVING WAGE, you will have no business.

We had a pretty good system. That is until these scum bags, met in secret, as they are about to do in just weeks in England, in groups like the Bilderbergs, the Davos Economic Summit, the Ideas Festival in Aspen, the Trilateralists, and the Council on Foreign Affairs and took it upon themselves to develop the Global economy out of thin air. THEY designed it to make themselves even more filthy ass rich, and to screw everyone else. They are the ones who decided that US jobs would be off shored to Communist China and Vietnam, and in Europe jobs would be sent from France, where the average French factory worker made $20 and hour, to Slovenia where they make $5 an hour. THEY are the ones who decided that America would be FLOODED with Mexicans and OTM's to drive down the wages in the US, and, being socialistic, change American political life and policy.
THEY are the ones who decided that Europe would be FLOODED with non-Europeans, namely Muslim peoples to do the same in Europe that the Mexicans and OTM's are doing in the US.
The "rich man", the moderately wealthy, or, well to do, has more in common with the $9 an hour American worker than he does with the Ultra rich of which I wrote of here. Unfortunately, he doesn't see that.
#17 May 14, 2013
sorry... that scum bag, anti-American, group headquartered in the USA is the COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS.... not the Council on Foreign Affairs, as I said above.
The Council on Foreign Relations is the implementation arm of the Bilderberg group for all that they want done in the US.

So, now speakup knows each rich person's heart and that they don't give because they want to but because they want a tax deduction. I love that rich have money to spend to pay in taxes and keep up the lazy bums who draws fromthe gopvernment. If it weren't for what they rich do pay, we'd be hurting because this country can't be carried on the back of the working class.
What it really boils down to is minding one's own business and not butting into other people finances and business. You live your life and let other do what they want and live theirs.
#19 May 14, 2013
So, were does the most of the tax money paid in to run the government come from? It's certainly NOT the poor or working class people. Rich pay more, always have, always will. They more you have they more you pay, regardless of the tax brackets percentages.
#20 May 14, 2013
"You live your life and let other do what they want and live theirs. "
And as some did not go to work the morning the WTC was attacked, I believe they were where God wanted them to be; while the father took the others on home.
I believe we are all where God wants us to be at this moment.
Even the rich are playing the part given to them.
