Sounds like fascism and tyranny with a smattering of BS thrown in.<quoted text>
Some on here have no conception of the whys and hows of this. They don't want to because some are blinded by political position, and, color. When you give an explanation, they can't even discuss it because they don't know how. So, they just decide in the blind, it's not ok.
How do some ignore this neverending gap between rich and poor and trust me, it isn't all related to the word "lazy", because if that were the case, I could name quite a few Republicans in that boat. Low wages and poverty isn't exclusive to the Democratic Party. But, they don't want to know that either. One thing Obamacare has proven and that is, the selfishness and greed this country is overtaken with. Common sense tells us all, the wealthy don't want anything that would put a crack in one of their yachts. They control the govt. and they want to completely control labor.
You are right. There are many hardworking, low wage persons that simply couldn't afford health insurance if they bled. And you're also correct that if the fat cats don't want to pay it, they can pay the piper and we'll use it on families that do want their children to be healthy and be able to afford the price of a doctor. In today's world, a week in a hospital will cost you your home. That should never be. God gave us life and only God has the right to take it, not the fat cats. The fat cats kept bringing in illegals for cheap labor and now they got it! They never dreamed that it would come back to haunt them now did they. They enjoyed 12 yrs. of the biggest taxcut in history. They've enjoyed slaving illegal workers for further profit. They've enjoyed outsouring labor for even cheaper than illegals. They've sat back while buildings burned down on their cheap labor without worrying about those laborers safety. They've done it all. Well, welcome to common sense. Welcome to President Barack Obama...a man that does care about the people. A man that does care about equality. A man that clearly sees what's been going on and doesn't even wear glasses.

Corporations cutting hours to prevent paying benefits is news to you? I hate to inform you of this, but UPS was one that got into a mess LONG before Obamacare for hiring part time workers to avoid benefits. I could also name you a Fortune 500 company that's been doing that since it's onset.
I doubt your fast food restaurants have very many full time employees to begin with. Usually in cases like that, it's mainly management that gets all the benefits. I could give you a prime example of that, but I won't.
What do you consider small business? Is that from your perspective, or, what the govt. considers small business because you have to have X number of employees before you're required to do that. Are you learned on the Healthcare Reform? I am.
You're worrying about wage impact, while in fact you're against even minimum wage law? How's that work? Oh, let me guess. It works only in selective situations according to political favor?
If a company doesn't care enough about it's employees to SHARE in the cost of healthcare, then they aren't worth working for. It's a deduction for that company and in turn, most likely, costs the company less than 66 cents on the dollar. OMG what a burden! That might just equal the goal trim on their latest Yacht.
Please try to refrain from cryin' to me about employers. I know the entire game, inside and out, so you might be best wasting your efforts on someone who has no clue?

Slavery? Who is it that's against minimum wage law? If I were you, I'd go ahead and get my hoe ready for the cotton because that's where your team wants you! Some of you are just so stupid, I don't know how you get in out of the rain alone.

No Benito... heard you just fine.

Those good ole minimum wage laws were historically used by racists against "cheap colored labor." The racism behind minimum wage laws may be gone but their impact on low skilled workers - primarily low skilled black workers has not. Minimum wage laws are really evil laws cloaked in compassion like most of your ideas.

I can see you have compassion written all over you. Cheap colored labor? How quaint. There's little racism when you take them having to pick cotton 14 hours a day simply to get a meal and whooped and take them to earning a miniscule amount. I know you thought you could keep them for free for the rest of eternity, but Honest Abe didn't think so.
I see you're among the group that is dead set on tearing this nation down...now that you had to encounter a black President. Get over it, little racist southerner. Surely it must have been the Tea Party that drove the Indians off their rightful lands, forcing them into reservations and feeding them crumbs. Enter the rich and famous Vanderbilts. Ah, what we do for the love of money..including destroying a great Nation.
Cloak that, dear.

Oh, I forgot. Maybe...no, could it be...couldn't be. Lipton crawled under someone's desk and guaranteed a few million to upset an applecart? Nah, surely not. Amazing grace ......

Honest Abe did not care about the slaves. He supported the Fugitive Slave Act and the Corwin Amendment as the 13th Amendment that would have forbid interference of slavery in the South. More like dishonest Abe.
Cheap colored labor was the term used by racist unions who didn't like non union blacks competing for union jobs in the North. minimum wage laws was used to prevent them from getting the work that would have gone to whites. After all, if a racist must pay the same wage to a black person as he would a white person it's a no-brainer as to who will get the job. Minimum wage laws lowered the cost of discriminating against blacks then and today they discriminate against low skilled workers which disproportionately are blacks, particularly black teens.
I would have gladly supported a black person for President. Just not the current one who I disagree with pretty much about everything. If he were a liberty oriented person I would have enthusiastically supported him. To paint opposition to Obama, at least on my part, to be the result of racism is convenient when your arguments fail to make any sense.
Your team's policies perpetuate outcomes that are less favorable for upward mobility under the guise of compassion. Sometimes, I wonder if it is willful ignorance on your part.

Your #2, you hit on the 21st century head. The Tea Party doesn't want any illegals given citizenship because they fear cheap labor will be a thing of the past for them. For what they work for in 21st century, you can clearly compare that to the slaves. The funny part of that is, it's Tea Party believer's houses where I see them on the rooftops, etc. and factually today, in the yard of a Tea Party member, I saw a whole group of them cutting down a large tree. Now isn't that precious?!
It's not unusual that you would deplore Lincoln as most of you southerners do. However, fact is, Kentucky wouldn't even be on the map had it not been for Lincoln as some wanted you destroyed. FACT is, Lincoln had a heart. Lincoln knew those blacks were human and Lincoln knew they could be an asset to society the same as the rest of us. They were forced to fight our wars and die, but weren't good enough to eat with us or even use the same bathrooms. You, your party or no one else, will destroy or distort the historical goodness of President Abraham Lincoln. I deplore the Madisons and Jeffersons, the wealthy real estate and slave owners, who attempted to write rules for others.
I don't believe there's discrimination with blacks these days at all. If it's disproportionate, it's due to education. I once had this black young man who worked under me. I walked by him one day and he was just standing there, leaning on a counter and I said "is there a problem"? He said "ah, I'm just getting tired of being paid like I'm pickin' cotton". I responded to him by stating "I'll make you a deal my friend. Stop acting like you're still pickin' cotton and I'll quit treating you like you're still pickin' cotton". It worked and he turned into a good employee.
Now, go help your party members get all those illegals off their rooftops. I'm sure they'd appreciate that. I know the rest of us would.
