They have also graduated to hitting parked vehicles in the much larger "arm trucks". This happened at a local business, I, as well as others, witnessed the incident. Like I said, a business, trucks have never hit any vehicles before and was parked waaaaaay far away from the dumpster. The driver didn't get out of the truck, or say anything to anyone outside watching... he just drove off. Poff was called the only thing they would say to the owner of the vehicle was the drivers first name. Little so they know, they will pay for it willingly or charges will be filed on driver ans company. And the entire thing is recorded on company security cameras.
I have never had any grouble from POFFS. But i will tell you this.....another local garbage company has issues also. They have "so called mechanics" that replace breaks, air lines etc and dont even test drive these trucks after fixing them. They do not even require a CDL for their mechanics. I know of several accidents due to mechanic error that have occurred due to this negligence. I will not name the company but it is not Poffs anbut they are located in LIly.

Be nice if they would drop a schedule through holidays just in case they don't run.

They always have a message on the bill thru the holidays if there's a schedule change but they should have to stick to that because that's what we have to go on that's why I was a little upset when I followed their schedule and they didnt not because I didn't have mine out

Is it only 18.95 a month for Poff? We have Waste Management and it's paid for 3 months. They keep creeping up in price. For 3 months it's almost 90.00. I've been thinking about changing to Poff if it's cheaper.

Our last bill from Waste Management for 3 months worth.

pickup with cart-67.90
environmental fee-1.36
fuel and material surcharge-17.04

So yeah. I think Poff sounds like the better deal. I'm probably going to switch over to them. Waste Management keeps going up so if I can save some money with Poff I will. 57.00 sounds better.

I switched to Poff last year. Better service and lower price than Waste Management.

I'm not saying they have bad service. I would have appreciated a notice they were raising fees. I don't like being blind sided and it was very unprofessional of them to not notify their customers.
I have been a Poff Customer for years and I DID receive a letter stating that beginning on a certain date our rates were going to raise. I can't believe that people think $17.75 is to much to pay for garbage service. If you think that price is too high then: load up your own garbage, Drive to the landfill, and pay the fee each week to dump your trash...bet your tune will change real quick.

If you have Waste Management, call them with to cancel with a quote from Poffs and they'll match or beat it.
