Why this garbage company has any business is beyond me. Anyone who knows Poffs knows this is a scum outfit.

Did they not send out a notice? I have my payment taken out of my checking account and couldn't figure out how I was almost $2 off...I guess now I know. What are the other local trash services around here and how much do they charge?

I didn't even get a notice. I don't like having anything taken out of my checking account like that.

I don't recall getting a notice either. That's why I was asking. They should be required to send a notice in advance.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Poff is more reliable than the post office. Of all the snow days we had this winter they only failed to pick up my trash 1 time! I think that's pretty good considering it snowed the night before :-)

The post office did ask for a rate increase but congress said no.

Poff is a good company. They seldom raise rates.I expected it with all the fuel price increase etc. They only went up a couple of dollars so I wont complain. When the water bill went up it doubled.any company has to pass increases on tho the consumer.Everything else has went up too.

i wouldn't complain so much about the rate increase due to fuel prices going up, but when prices went down my rate didn't decrease

Poff has top of the line employees. They go far and above what is expected of them. People cheat them with more garbage than they should and they pick it up anyway, risking their lives. I admire their worth ethic. A good company I don't mind paying.

I don't mind paying more, although I would be upset if they took more out of my checking without notice. I really like them, though. They do a great job.

I'm not saying they have bad service. I would have appreciated a notice they were raising fees. I don't like being blind sided and it was very unprofessional of them to not notify their customers.

They should of notified the customers who have it deducted from their account. That could cause a $30. overdraft. That isn't the fault of the men who do the physical work though. They provide very good service and we'd be lost without them.

No, I'm not anyone's mom, who works for Poff, just a client of your company and dealt with the pick-up employees. I am a mom though and I hope my son's treat others as nice as they treat our family.

I have no complaints about Poff. The rate increase is totally understandable. I just wish they would have sent a notice about it. We had forgot to pull our can out to the road one time and they picked up our trash anyway. Me and my husband discussed it and we will probably discontinue our service due to the increase because we live on a limited income and with the rise in gas prices and other things, the trash service was high enough to begin with. We only have around 2-3 bags a week and we have decided to start sorting it and using a barrel to burn paper products, save cans and then properly dispose of any remaining trash. However, in the future, if the rates come down or we get a pay raise, we would consider using them again. The price of everything is going up but our paychecks are staying the same.
