I figure it like this, all reality shows are fake, so you know it's staged. However, the advertisement he will recieve will make him millions if the show is a success. I wish his family the very best of luck.

All shows on "TruTv" are dramatizations of events that actually took place at those places. At least that's what they want u to think.

This is on the internets and it can't be wrong. For if it was they wouldn't allow it in here.

Big Sam’s Kentucky Auction: This series follows the happenings at Sammie’s Auction, a colorful auction house in Corbin, Ky. This family-owned business buys rare and sometimes outrageous items during the week and then sells them off on weekend nights. Sammie, his family and his madcap employees will buy or sell just about anything: wedding dresses, condoms, live animals, condominiums, antique coins, warrior helmets, antique cars, motorcycles, bull castrators…you name it.

Big Sam's Kentucky Auction, which was ordered for six episodes, follows the family-run Sammie's Auction house in Corbin, Ky. The series is from ITV Studios America in ITV Studios America in association with Leepson Bounds Entertainment. From Endemol's 51 Minds Entertainment.

There is no TV show coming from any business in Corbin. Its simple economics: to have a show you have to interested things; this area has no wealth and a low population drastically limiting interesting moments. In comparison, Pawn Stars is in Las Vegas; American Pickers is throughout the country; Storage Wars is in California.

Pure and simple, this rumor is a lie. They might be able to get enough interested moments to make one episode, but that's it. Sounds to me like the people at Sammies just want to pretend to be celebrities.

Honestly you are wrong. I hate when people state stuff for fact when in reality they have no clue what they are talking about.

You need to get a life. It is obvious that this rumor is not true. And you are probably a family member of Sammies trying to keep this going for attention.

Pawn Stars, for example, shows items worth large amounts of money and exists in an area where many people visit the shop. Sammies is in one of the poorest and lowest populated areas in the country. There are no big ticket items that Sammies deals with and there are simply not enough people who deal with Sammies to provide enough material for a TV show.

Stop lying.

Also, I know for a fact that the only filming done at Sammies was what they paid for. There was a bar in Knoxville that did the same thing a while back. They went around telling people they were filming a show for MTV and it turned out that were simply paying people to follow them around with cameras.

LOL.

are you people too retarded to follow this link:

http://realscreen.com/2013/04/18/upfronts-13-...

read the entire article and you will find out that they are filming 6 episodes for trutv to be aired on trutv and if it a success they will order more episodes. i think it's based more on how foolish they act than the items they sell. but all these crazies posting that it is not happening check the link or google:

I can assure you 6 episodes of the show will air on trutv, gauranteed. It's already been sold and produced.

People can fake cameras, and do fake publicity via local outlets like the newspaper, but you can't fake news releases on huge outlets like variety.

http://variety.com/2013/tv/news/tv-upfronts-t...

What you see at local places when they start to boast about being on tv, the cameras are there, they leave, then nothing, is called a sizzle reel or pilot episode.

They make what is like a movie trailer, then a network has to agree to pay to have the show made. In many cases, about 98%, the shows dont sell. So nothing ever comes of it.

Sammies has already sold their show

Commercials will start to run on trutv and they will set up a promotional page on the trutv website soon.

I understand your point about the economics, and all that jazz. But shows are about people and family dynamics and stories, just look at buck wild on MTV, they are in an area stricken by poverty, yet that show rated off the charts.

The link is faked too. Nothing about Sammie's on TruTV's website. Explain that!

ANYTHING can be faked! Once again there is no mention of anything on TruTV's website. That alone proves that this is a lie.
