I had my mother's neighbor call animal control on me, over my. 2 Horses. He said they were so hungry they were eating the leaves off his trees. he also had my mothers other neighbors complain about them. I have pictures of the ENTIRE fence line. My horses had. 2 Bales of hay and were fed 9 cups of sweet feed. 2 Times a day. Turns out The man who said they were eating his trees wanted to harass my mother so she would sell the property they were on. Long story short, some people are A holes, and animal crocontrol are liars. They accused us of the same until we showed them the pictures of the trees, fence and food. They don't really do their job....and it's sad.

Thank goodness for Animal Shelters. Detroit has 70,000 dogs running wild in garbage and endangering people's lives and their pets and the problem is growing. Detroit's bankruptcy is an example of defunded government. Animal Shelters are a valuable necessity.
I wouldn't want to meet a pack of dogs while getting my mail.

Apparently all they do is pick them up and kill them. You wee minded people (?) make me sick. Out of the almost 4,000 animals that went in over there only 167 were saved. Do you realize that those anal orfices ride around and do nothing except pick up Grandma's little dog or children's pets and do not even check to see if they microchipped?? The county gives them a big ass budget so they make more than I ever would. And do nothing but kill the animals. The east coast has such better spay/neuter laws than we will ever have, because we are too stupid, that they are glad to take our pups and kittens and even older dogs. A rescue could come in once or twice weekly and transport these poor things and they could have a happy home. Yet the assholes that are over the shelter won't let the, They had rather kill them. Wake up people, next day or week or month it could be your beloved dog, or your child's or your mothers. Get this crap out of there and let the rescues in!

That's why you should spay and neuter.

well stray dogs ran loose in my neighborhood and they were called and declined to come out and do anything, actually they asked my neighbor to hold them in her yard until they could come out, I mean who knows what these dogs might have or how dangerous it could be or heck who has time to do their job they get paid all that money for, we got some real lucky people to be working for animal control in this town besides all that we know who the dogs belonged to and because of who they belonged to is really why they never came out and did anything with the dogs for starters

Go to the East Coast. This is Appalachia. There are no big budgets.

Some folks that live a couple of houses up from me have so many animals mainly dogs. Them dogs live in filth they are thrown in small dog pins that never get cleaned and on top of that they have 8 or better in the cages. Also they have a bunch all around there house. Sometimes they get food and water and sometimes they don't. A few of them looked starved to death. I'm sure there are at least 30 dogs plus I think they have some on the inside as well. I love animals it saddens me every time I see those dogs. If your to lazy to take care of them or lack the funds to feed them properly then don't get them. I feel like I need to call someone to get the problem fixed but it sounds like there is no one to call in this area it is very sad to me. They bark nonstop but I guess that's there way of asking for some food, water, and a clean area to live in. I hate to say it but these dogs would be better off if they put them down I mean they live a horrible life the way it is now at least they wouldn't suffer anymore.
