Never a state title without exchange students. That Carson kid has heart. He could play any where. If it was not for him they would not have won but about 10 games this season. They loose three seniors and all were good :)

I was at the game,. talked with a referre and also a coach that was present at the game, they both said the refs stole the game from North. By the way we were not looking for a state title ,just for a game to be called equal. Go Tigers.

South Laurel and North Laurel were both robbed against Harlan Co. Just look at the calls inside the last 3:00 of the games. Wasn't just a coincidence that Julian Tackett was there being made a coal miner last night.....he was there picking up the rest of that big pile of money Harlan Co gave him to move the region. Every other game, girls and boys, the refs have let the kids decide the games. Both Harlan Co games were decided by the whistle at the end.

justafan is right. Harlan couldn't win any games anywhere else. I was very disappointed. North and South where both cheated

so the Ref admitted it? Most of the time every team is cheated on one call or another. It usually balances out in the end. Refs around here are bad most of the time on both side of the calls :)

I was there and talked to a coach a ref a cheerleader and possibly a person that will help elect the next Pope. All said North had a good game plan but the slow ball indicated the coach knew they were outgunned. All agreed it was fairly called and North ended up one game more than they should have, but that was because KC was robbed.

your were close by 8. They had to beat Harlan and the Refs. Give Clay credit they didn't back down on Harlan's home floor. Job well done!! Took care of business!!
