About 20% of it I like, the other 80% tends to be quite forgettable.

There is some young bands bringing back 70s and 80s music. Look up these bands:

Mount Carmel
Buffalo Killers
St Lucia
Tesla Boy
Bear In Heaven

The first 2 are very 70s sounding, the last 3 are pure 80s synth pop. Whats on the radio is horrible for the most part, but their is underground bands making great music.

Keep this thread alive. Some great music posted here!! Love it!. Ill try to post links of the bands i mentioned

Great song! You have " Music for the Masses" as your signature....You a Depeche Mode fan? I am, just wondering. Forgot to mention in the other post that Pendulum is also another great band. Best D-B band ever.

What i like about you and Jenny is you post a very wide variety of stuff. Really good taste in Music, friends. Only thing i might add to this is Miles Davis " So What", well...really anything by Miles. Kinda Blue is in my Top 5 albums of all time. Id say both of you have listened to it. Just has a very deep vibe to it, cant explain. But, all of the greats have those special times when everything just came together and a awesome album was made.
thanks
